Rhoads! I cannot even begin to imagine all the crazy awesome music I would be listening now if he were still alive.

It'd be too crowded. I'd bring back Dime. Hendrix would have been shunned be all the shred dudes anyway. Randy was going to go back to college. And SRV, from what I've seen has gotten more famous whilst being gone. Dime though, there very well may have been a Pantera reunion at some point. And he was already massively known for his abilities. Just my opinion. Please noone start arguing.

randy rhoads. although going back to college, he was only 25. at the time he died he was going to make a new album with ozzy, apparently ozzy and others say he had this cool thing going on, with delay, chorus distortion itr sounded insane...

I would go for SRV. I was torn between Stevie and Jerry Garcia but in the end I felt that Jerry had already left a huge impact and Stevie when he died was just starting to leave a mark.

The better question is which one would survive alongside today's musicians and fans?

I believe people are remembered by their accomplishments and not what they could have accomplished.

We will never know for certain what they would have accomplished.

Some people prove their true selves later in their lives while others prove themselves early on.

Dimebag would probably fair up pretty well and would keep the atrocity that is Hellyeah from forming.

SRV would probably have released some great music but would been eventually forgotten like Bob Dylan.

Jerry Garcia would have the loyalty of Deadheads although they would probably start dying out.

Randy Would share the shred title with EVH

Hendrix as a contemporary would have been underrated because his talent was undeniable but as a dead man he is overrated.

Schuldiner was not that popular at the turn of the century even though he helped Death Metal rise to near mainstream status.

Thelonius Monk would have continued his jazz genius.

I'ts strange how people always remember someone when they're dead just look at Michael Jackson.

At the funeral people always say how great they were even if they were complete ***s. hahahaha.

I want to be remembered as I really was I mean what do I care really if I'm already dead.

I'd have to be buried like a good Catholic and not cremated.

i think the 2 tht probably would do the best now would be randy and dimebag. although dimebag had left pantera and back playing clubs, a world tour reunion had to have come.

and randy...just think of what he could have done, first of all reunions with ozzy, maybe playing with kevin before he died. maybe forming another band. he was only 25.

hendrix would remain poplular until maybe the 80s then die out.

Ozzy was saying that Randy Rhoads was actually the type of guy to get really into the synthesizer movement on the 80's and probably wouldn't have stayed with Ozzy.

Well I would'nt bring back Jackson only because he lived through his Golden Age and gave us great music, It is a shame however that he died before his massive tour he was going to be performing.

Randy however died before he could give us amazing compositions and tunes. I believe if he would of lived longer, everyone would know who Randy Rhoads is.

There you go Jazzy! You read my mind, I picked Michael. But mainly for his tragic life, not so much for his music to continue. I'm sad he missed the chance to get his life back on track, I was sure the tour was going to do it for him. Ah well, that's fate for you. Always seems to catch us all out for its own reasons.

I came close to saying Johnny Cash, but then I remembered him saying that although he was still constantly writing songs in his head during his later years, he lost the will to write them down. He was just growing tired of it, plus he had a nice full life. So for that I didn't. Then I thought Patsy Cline. Because she died at the young age of 30 and was still composing and performing songs when her life was cut short. I would've liked to have heard more. But sitll MJ by far, but for personal reasons more then music.

none of them

there is an order to things and having anyone (i crave Thelonious Monk/Jimi) 'come back' would upset that order.

There's a certain fact that occurs when a musician or artist passes on: and that's the fortification of their work. As a musician, you need to pass on to create the incredible influence you leave behind.

Therefore, no one should be brought back.

Since the Beatles were done before they died, I doubt you would get any more Beatles even if they were still alive
