My opinion is that all forms of music can be educational. No music truly sucks, it's just that some forms of music aren't my cup of tea. But if a type of music makes someone else happy, then it can't be "bad" music.

In Iraq they played Slayer on the radio... Actually Iraq had the best radio stations surprisingly.

I honestly cannot even remember the last time I listened to a radio station. I have Sirius, which is almost always on ESPN radio and when it isn't, it is usually on either Lithium or Classic Vinyl, sometimes the jazz station. But mostly if I am listening to music, I am just listening to my iPod. I gave up on the radio long, long ago.
