Life expectancy is much longer than even 100 years ago.. because of modern medicine, it helps people survive what was thought to be a death sentence.
But I know where you're coming from, however, I blame the FDA for a lot of medicine's screw ups and their greed with the pharmaceuticals who's main interest is making money.

In my opinion, preppy little girls need to stop infesting all of the cool social networking sites. MyYearbook has went from witty statuses and the occasional **ty chick to the same quotes from overplayed rap songs and cold-hearted Hollister girls who feed off of the lust of the very guys going "hey baby, you look s3xyy"....with the occasional **ty chick. But still. We need a NoBull****Book or something. Something that gets blocked in the parental control filter of the little kids that ruin these cool sites.

I know of at least my wife, my mother, my father, my grandpa, and grandma (twice), among many great uncles.

My wife is still alive and has been cancer free for about 17 years. My mom is alive and cancer free for 20 years. My wife had both chemo and radiation. My mom had neither, had surgery instead. My grandma had it the first time, it worked. It came back in a different form and was found too late, she had no treatments. My grandpa's was found too late and was not given treatments either. My father had no treatments, as it was also terminal. Not sure about my great uncles.

Being a nuclear engineer, I am definitely interested in hearing this ...

SECONDLY i wana say, that if anyone is going to dismiss me as an ignorant 16 year old then please stfu and dont comment. because not only are you wrong but youre ignorant. fine to critisize, even doubt but i have full proof of what im going to say.

let me establish some facts:

the FDA makes over 2 BILLION dollars (u.s) a year off cancer in one way or another! (chemo radiation etc.) did you know that the "sucess" rate on chemo and radiation is a tiny bit over 4% i believe! 4%!! unless its changed, last ive checked 4%. really? by the way, btimm, its quite commen for cancer to go away and come back after chemo.

lets examine how chemo works in the basics of it.

chemo is basicly putting toxic chemicals in your body to kill cancer. thats the simplest way. but it also kills you! thats why when you do chemo you get sick, you get sores, if on radiation you lose your hair, basicly it kills your immune system, and organs in your body, along with the cancer. thing is, cancer is a bit like a weed. if you dont get all of it, itll come back. thats why a 2nd forthcoming of cancer is so commen.

now lets look at it on a slightly sarcastic level.

basicly modern medicine is dumbed down to the lowest level. hey you got a head cold? here take some medicine to hide the symptoms, it doesnt matter if it goes away, just if whats effecting you does. same thing with cancer

now, for all you kind, generous people who donate their money...for a "cure" yay...a cure. wow. hey donate 50$ to me and ill make sure it goes to finding a "cure"

one has been doing it for a few months, pancreatic cancer. in fact in my first visit there i met 2 pancreatic cancer patients... who were told they had months to live and currently defy it.

yes its not because they kill people, nor steal billions from people and kill them, nor trick them and decieve them to think its the only way... but because they hide the true cure.

Dr.berzinsky in texas- arrested in his practice...for...curing cancer!(he now has teams of lawyers to make sure this doesnt happen)

yes the fda arrests, jails, and shuts down doctors who practice acctual medicine (this is all in suzanne sommers book btw.) the fda blocks them and trys to shut them down, just like they did with thyroid that my mom and i take, (they stopped the acctual thyroid so big farm could make big bucks of synthetic thyroid)

DONT donate to cancer cures. not because im mean bc theyre bull **.
DONT do chemo or radiation. theres so many different cures out there... THAT WORK!!

Yeah, I agree with most of what you're saying EMB, but then these big time companies are also what pay the doctors to help others and pharmacies for medicine that may not be for cancer - but it's medecine that will help someone.

hah yeah i take vit b injections straight to my leg 2 to 3 times a week. im highly deficient in it, vit b really does a lot.

I've been living with RCC (kidney cancer) for 5 years now. According to my oncologist I should have been dead 6 months ago at the latest. The reason I'm not is because I turned to alternative therapy rather than just accept what the quacks were saying.
Big Pharma will never admit to finding a cure for cancer. They are doing far to well on the fact that cancer actually exists (cancer industry = a turnover in excess of $500 Billion a year!)!

Don't underestimate cancer Elliot. It's a horrible wasting disease that, like scurvy, will eat you alive if it's not dealt with. The problem lies in peoples mindset. Generation after generation of people have been swallowing the orthodox medical BS that states their way is the only way and Doctor (allopathic) knows best to the extent that everyone's afraid to think outside of the box and seek the less advertised therapy's.
The first 'cure' I heard of was in the 1930's. Hit Google and check out Royal Raymond Rife (and see what the FDA did to him).
This is very dangerous ground we're on. You can bet your bottom dollar that big pharma would rather start world war 3 than let someone publicise a cure for cancer!
