I hate when tools say "no, i don't know nothin bout that" when some one on a internet message board asks a question. If you don't know about it, no need to post then. They end up with hundreds of posts that say nothing in no time.

I don't get why people think classical music is just the music of old retiring people and has no excitement etc in it.
Bach had 21 children at least of 2 different women (one of them his cousin) and Stravinsky's rite of spring caused one of the largest riots over a piece of music possibly ever.
If you look at the composers lives a lot of them lived far more of a rock n roll lifestyle than kings of leon or any of those other boring modern rock bands.
Also Paganini had long black hair painted his face white and people thought he sold his soul to the devil for his violin shred skills making him the first black metal violinist.
Any one about Sergei Rachmaninoff, Favorite composer. I don't know much about some of the trivia in his life, or fun facts. I just know the Basics and bio stuff.

As for them sounding similar, the guitar is almost identical (minus Distortion on Marley's part).
The only differences are the singers and tempo of the songs.

Reaktor is a synthesiser for those who don't know that allows you to create your own instruments by combining parts of a synth and hooking them together with wires etc and if you go down and down into these modules you'll basically find a very low level computer language combined with electronics.
While that statement is true and I shouldnt have spent about 5 hours today creating my own synthesiser which I'm now building built in effects for I have to say that as a computing student I find the programming and logical side of it a really interesting puzzle.
God I should quite messing around with virtual representations of circuitry and play guitar xD

1. I think its dumb to hate bands because they are thought to be over rated. good music is good music.
2. most things that Ive heard that are considered "underground" is pretty awful.

I LOVE Reaktor! I use Logic Pro 9 so I use a program call Sculpture, don't know if you know it, but like Reaktor can make any kind of crazy syth Sculpture can make any kind of crazy sting instrument. It really cool, and here is a pick of my favorite instrument.
I think Reaktor and Sculpture in there own ways can be vary difficult to understand a first, BUT Reason is by far the hardest learning curve! LOVE THEM ALL! But Reason is the most limited in my book.
I didnt find reason to be hard at all, its easy to use actually. Limited... well yeah, depends what you are doing. Its very efficient for specific type of music. And to use as an addon, its super efficient.
But I think Lobsters are the most metal things EVER! Think about it, you put them in a vat of boiling water, the sreeeeek turn red, they die, and then you F(#*ING EAT THEM! That's metal man.
That or tiger salamander!
You can cut them up and they will just grow it all back! Kinda like "The Spirt" you know that want to be sin city, but we all know zombies are real so they are the most metal thing alive...I mean dead ever.

@neomass, I recently got komplete 7 off native instruments so I now have reaktor, absynth, kontakt 4, FM8, Massive and Battery to play with as well as a ton of other effects etc
It's actually amazing.
Also I think llamas are actually a lot more metal.

DAM THEM LLAMAS! Well, now I'm just envious, I know you can take all 7 and link them into logic and have them work together but it seems to be a battle that will rage on in my laptop for years to come... I need a desktop.

My opinion of Tom Waits, upon first hearing him, was that he was a gigantic black man who smoked 6 packs of smokes a day. But I think he's alright, and writes some good songs. Never really got into him though.
My opinion of anyone who thinks Jack White is a wimp because he dyes his hair and played with a band that only wore read white and black, is that they are very steeeeewwwwwpeeeedddddddddddd. Because he is one of the most honest songwriters I have ever heard. Plus I saw the after-pics of some guy he got in a fight with....holy **. Jack won, I'll leave it at that.
My opinion of Gibson guitars is that they used to be good in the 50-thru-early 80s, then they started smoking super crack and got lamer and lamer, while jacking prices up. I still think Les Pauls are the best though, followed by the Telecaster, followed by the mighty Es Gee.
My opinion of opinions is that opinions are really stupid to share and that they only cause problems, like conversations that either end in "YEAH, TOTALLY! :D" or "You are the biggest ***ing idiot ever". But...they're fun to share for some reason.

My opinion of display drivers in computers is that they are evil, because they keep freezing my computer, and when I complain to my girl about it and she gets bored with me I act like I downloaded too much animal porn which caused it. Therefore, in a really odd chain reaction, display drivers make me look like a creep. But she laughed. (OH! WHAT NOW?!)
This has gotten way off the beaten path of guitfiddle and music in general, so I'll stop now. If the mods feel the need to delete this post, go ahead lol. It's just because I'm too lazy to write in my journal, so I typed for the forum family to see.
