You ever reach the point where you just can't cry anymore?

I mean, I've been hurtin inside for some time now. And, until a week or so ago, I was just constantly down. Constantly hurtin. Then, I just kinda....stopped. Like, my mind just didn't dwell on it. But, over the last couple of days, it's been on my mind more often and I've been hurtin again. Thing is, I just can't let myself cry anymore.

I don't know what's wrong with me. It's like, if I cry, I'm just gonna set myself back. So, I can't do it. But, at the same time, I'm hurtin inside real bad. I'll find myself not even wanting to play music.

Only time I feel good is when I'm in the church house. It's peaceful, man. IDK. Just wish I could get this off my mind.

Dude, I've been there(with the hurting) and what really helped me was to talk about it with someone for a while. I grabbed some smokes and we just sat and talked for about an hour and I was amazed how different I felt, I felt so much better after just getting it out there and saying the things on my mind.

Ive been depressed lately. And sleeping alot.

Carl, I see were you're coming from, but that's only going to make it worse. To be quite honest Evan [or Skold, I knew it was you since the first post but didn't want to say anything in fear of you being banned again] you just have to whatever feels good to you. And if that means going to the church house, then go. I'd imagine it's not on a nine to five basis. Don't try to find someone who understands though. Most times you'll only find someone you goes "Yeah dude" and agrees with everything. Just get some time away, and try to do away with anything that depresses you the best you can. I've been through this and it's not easy.

i have to agree. i didn't know this Skold guy before but, he seems kind of like a douche... the whole comment thing he was doing wasn't remotely funny, just mean.

When you want to learn how to cook, you find people who can help you cook.

When you want to learn guitar, you find people who can help you learn guitar.

When you have problems that you need to fix, you find people who can help you fix your problems.


You know what you need to do.

Okay im inbetween on this one fellas. On one hand, I understand that this is a guitar forum/community so I feel on that motiff should stay that way. But on the otherside we are a COMMUNITY shouldn't we act like one and help a fallen brother in need? Now I don't know what words were said or exchanged, but I know that we can't go judging others if we haven't judged ourselfs first. I mean I will admit I have made too many "distasteful and ugly" jokes. From what I hear, Skold did make one of those jokes. Yet he who has not comitted a crime cast the first stone. (im not religious in fact I use to be catholic for 16 years then went agnostic/atheist however quotes are quotes and some fitting)

Thus to end my point @Evan/Skold=Everyone goes through hard times, however there is karma so you need to be careful with what you say! Find something you love to do and go do it.

And lastly so I do not become a hypocrit, GUITAR RULES!!! GO GUITAR!!!

I don't like racist jokes either but I remember having told two very UGLY, VERY, VERY, VERY MEAN jokes related to the Holocaust but I really didn't do it to make fun of the people that died there. I've thought about it later and I understood I shouldn't have but you know, people are supposed to learn from their mistakes. PERSONALLY, I don't think Skold meant that in a sick way, and he also apologized for it, so sure, you can do what you want to and what you think is right but I suggest we leave him alone for now. I know I should be minding my own business but it's just a thought.

I've been there, too, not very long ago. It kinda sucks to feel like crying and everything else but I think it's a good thing to keep yourself from crying after a while. I just decided to move on, things like that happen all the time. It kinda tends to hurt when you start thinking about it later or when you stumble on a picture or like in my case, the smell of the jacket I used to wear at the time, but I don't let myself feel terrible about it.
And unlike Case, I don't talk about it to people. I'm keeping from ever needing someone, so I'm doing it all by myself.

John, You don't know the WHOLE story. There is so much more to this and quite frankly I wish this tread had not been resurrected. It's a long story, trust me.

nullnaught, if you can't be aware of the whole story, then refrain from commenting and don't get an attitude.

Some forums disable further comments to a particular topic, in lieu of deleting a whole thread. But if the whole thread sux for some reason, why not delete it?

I don't know the whole story, or any of it really, but it's unfair to have hidden posts that cause an argument.
