@Reinhardt you're right, it is not pretty music. But it was so awesome back then!

Some things capture the zeitgeist of a generation or a moment in time.

Industrial influenced music back then was a through the looking glass view of a hippie drum circle, fresh off 8 years of Reagan and 4 of Bush the first. Full of rhythm and bile, like a punk for the generation.

OK. I'm gonna go ahead and just say this: Justin Bieber is a very talented musician, writer, and singer. He is a self-taught musician as well. He produced and performed all of his early youtube videos and songs himself. While I don't particularly care for his music, I am impressed by what he has already accomplished as a young artist. He is a really easy target because of his looks and his age and stupid things he says in the media.

So, I'm gonna go ahead and say this too: Justin Beiber is a much better singer than that guy from Ministry of Theives who just yells. I probably like the MOT song better than ANY JB song I'll ever hear but JB is actually a singer. Like him or not. Just sayin.

Misistry before they found their voice. They got a record deal early and were forced to make the kind of music the producer wanted. After they broke out on their own they went crazy and started doing the grim sceaming stuff. Interesting to see a band that started out so light and then got heavier. Usually you see the opposite.
