the funny thing is, there is some truth to this.

That is hilarious, and kind of true. I actually started putting picks in my wallet because I always forgot them in my pockets, but if the chicks dig it, that's cool too. I also prefer "Over the Hills and Far Away" over "Wonderwall" for lady-wooing. Possibly for the simple reason that it's a better song, I don't know.

I was at a "party" a couple of months ago and a guy started doing pretty much the exact things mentioned in that video. Once he got to the "just hum" my friend's sister's boyfriend (who was rather innebriated) started ripping on this guy like like it was his job. "You suck! Look! He's not even singing anymore he's just humming, what the hell is this?" There were a bunch of F-bombs laced in there as well. I couldn't breathe for a solid minute it was so funny and perfectly timed. The guy obviously heard everything that was said and was getting pretty agitated. My friends encouraged me to show the guy up, but I let him have his hour of quasi-glory, a good idea I think.

What's cool about this is that all I need to do is CARRY a guitar and I can get laid :D It's fun being female.

@Crunch yeah i do the same thing with my picks, i have 2 on me at all times just in case i happen to run across a guitar that nees played while out and about.

Haha Jazz that is quite true! :p I remember being in Edinburgh the other week and I only had to walk around the streets with my guitar case to reach my hotel to get a load of blokes to turn their heads. Although mind you, if I got it out and actually played it I think they'd all run a country mile.

And as for the video, I absolutely love the fact that all the male guitarists I've ever met have played Wonderwall, like constantly. I finally understand why that is now

Haha Emp! Ah well, if I ever want to get laid I could just keep my guitar. If I walk around with it and just try to avoid playing it by finding good reasons not to whenever a guy asks, like I'll say it has no strings or something...and I was taking it to get restringed. Then they'd have to assume I can play it decent enough...maybes it would work :D
