Ok, massive post explosion over the last few days!!



I agree with you. We all know what she looks like, so why post pictures of yourself in front of a stack of towels?!

I enjoy seeing what everyone else on the forum looks like and what they are doing, it puts a face to the name. I'm not sure if what you are suggesting is a criticism of one particular member but i can assure you (prove actually) that there are several members who have posted more than twice the number of pictures as Jazzy. I enjoy them all, from Emp to Ozzie, I don't think singling out one member to bash is cool. It's actually very uncool. Makes a person feel unwelcome.

Aren't you single Phip? Why so many damn towels? lol. And I think he was just joking too. Plus Jazzy didn't do the "13 year old girl thing". It was an honest pic. Believe me, I've seen them, I know the diff haha.

I strongly agree that it's interesting to see what other people look like, and I guess her original pics are lost somewhere around page 20 or something. It's fair enough posting photos of you doing something interesting, or meeting someone famous, in addition to a generic photo or two*, but when it's "this is me by a door, this is me by a window" etc I think it's a little bit over the top. I could post more photos but I don't see the point and I wouldn't know where to start - it's a guitar/music forum, not facebook/myspace. It's great to put a name to a face, but sometimes things can get a bit excessive. Just my opinion.

*phippings are not included in this, long may they continue!

Yikes! Yopu guys are suddenly obsesed not with Jazz now, but towels! phip is particularly scaring me with it, he's in his dark apartment with what seems to be a towel fortress.

I'll get a new pic of me on here posibly tonight once I've finished my art prep. You'll all be amazed, today I'm not in sports gear, I'm in normal, casual cloths! Yeah, I'm feeling important today. (casual is as fancy as I get.)

I'm away for two days and I have to read an essay!

@BHS, yeah man, that is your opinion, but I'm not going to follow it. I can do what I want and I quite enjoy posting pictures. I wouldn't consider it spamming the forum either. Plus I have this amazing fetish for towels. Each colour brings out a new side to me!

If I'm homeless it'd be pretty handy to have towels! Jump into the fountain and have a good wash at 3am, living on the wild side I tell ya!

Besides, I've posted crap loads of lessons and licks ontop of giving loads of these guys help, I'm pretty sure it's ok for me to take a break and enjoy the casual conversations.

It's been ages since I've seen Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy! I'm definitely watching this today :D

a thought: yes this is a music/guitar site and there are plenty of topics regarding music/guitar. this is the "pictures" thread, it is the proper place for pictures so keep posting, i really enjoy it!

The original quote that referenced the greatness of towels is found in Douglas Adams' work The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy.

@ Guitar Slinger, are you allowed to wear glasses when you go off and fight? Actually I'm not certain what it is you do there. :S Either way, you look badass.

No we can't wear regular glasses...I have whats called eye pro, and they are shrapnel proof eyewear and i have incerts for my prescription, its a bit of a pain but im not a fan of laser eye surgery. Here in germany i really dont do much at all besides maintenance my equipment and vehicles. But my actual job in the army is communications.

Yeah that was a fun night with a bunch of Crazy hats I found. That was some crazy German Ump pa pa hat

yeah, you can wax it so its like you have dreadlocks kinda without actually dreading it first to see if you like it. but they kinda sound like a pain to take care of

Thanks Dylan! That sock was driving me insane! Random background stuff is very distracting. Jazz is right my camera did make my room look more yellow then it is. I had to put it on some setting called 'macro' because all the other 15 settings make people look super pale for some reason. But yeah, my light is a little yellow actually, helps me feel sleepy. And sorry Ozz, I'll make sure I have a towel in the next picture I screw up!

yea its was still a little damp, it usually doesnt look that good lol. its fairly curly in the back, which i hate

Mine is a bit like that. The fron and sides look fairly straight but the back is naturally and strangely more wavey, and is even a bright blond color at the back! It's pretty strange too.

yw heather...i have wavy hair, but the funny thing is that when i was child it was straight and i have never made anything to it...that's pretty WEIRD, and so when i have it cut, it looks a bit straight...however...i love my hair =P
