nope your not Tele but thats not exactly emo because Emo is really about more than cutting yourself and being pale and sad all the time

Actually, Emo is not caring what people think, and just doing your own thing. We generally wear darker clothes, yes, but they aren't all tight and shit like we're wearing girls jeans. True emo's also don't have those stupid looking hairstyles (that cover have of the fake emo's faces). We generally don't touch our hair, really. We just kinda wake up and go.

What many people think of as "Emo" is actually "Emo-fag". These "Emo-fags" worship tight ass clothes, fall out boy, writing in their LiveJournal, and taking myspace photos with "unintentional" blank expressions.

I'm often considered to be Emo because I wear black alot, have black hair (naturally), and don't smile a lot. Simple truth is, I just like what I wear, like how I am, and don't see a lot of things to smile at.

All my pictures are from the FagEmo era but right now I've kinda stopped caring what people think of me

Lol I am not emo, if that's what yer thinking. I just look it cause, yes I die my hair black cause brown looks like a dog took a dump on my head. I'm actually quite obsessed with my hair too :P I need to make sure it doesn't look all faggy when I walk out the door (you wanna look good for the chicks, don't you?)

Emo to me is just a fashion that will die in like 5 years from now, and it's a type of (crappy) music that will also die in 5 years. And the cutting thing is just stupid... like seriously... gross...

Lol, it's not cutting yourself for pleasure, it's cutting yourself for relief, who ever said that. I don't do it like, but I knew some people who did.

It doesn't just mean you're emotional like a woman, no. It means you're more willing to let your emotions be in control - it's just a lot of the scene from a few years ago did this in only one direction and tried to come off as depressed because they thought it'd be cool and it was the natural teen angst thing to do. That video is the exaggerated stereotypical view a lot of people have because of the scene.

And by the way guys, Fall Out Boy are pop punk, really. Try Texas is the Reason or Fivespeed for some emo (and they're good, actually).
