Your Most Hated Bands

Everyone talks about their favorite bands, but which are the ones you hate with a burning passion.(I have a feeling I'm gonna get a lot of hate for my list :) ) Mine are:

Well, being realistic, I am just going to leave out bands I just don't like i.e. rap artists or backstreet boys...

Anyhow, I can only think of one off the top of my head right now:

1) Kiss - Most overrated band in all rock history

I don't get why everyone hates A7X, Korn, and Slipknot.

A7X has a really solid Guitar section IMO (although I'm not big on their "attitude")
Korn has never really bothered me.
and Corey Taylor is a great singer (outside of Slipknot though).

the reason i dont like Bon Jovi anymore is i was always listening to him because my parents did. I used to call him my favorite band. After awhile i just got sick of him. Green Day w as i used to love becuase my cousin did. Eventually i thought they were fakes and we both grew out of them

How could Green Day be fakes. I guess for people who don't know classic punk, maybe, but that makes no sense. Is Agent Orange also fake?

1. I think its dumb to hate bands because they are thought to be over rated. good music is good music.
2. most things that Ive heard that are considered "underground" is pretty awful.
3. there is a difference between underground and obscure.

All those hipster bands called "The (insert underground/no mainstream name here)" god i hate them so much,i hate hipsters and all their "culture"

I also hate pretentious music like A7X,hipster music,pretentious jazz,11 minutes loop based "techno" tracks,damn so many bands or artists i hate

But still,i do love most music! weird isnt it?

Edit: Oh...bands. I don't like most bands that charge $50 for tickets.

And I don't like bands that play the big venues. But I do like bands that I like that play the big venues that then play the little venues too.

-REO Speedwagon, because Blinded By The Light comes on EVERY DAMN DAY AT WORK, plus I don't like his voice for some reason.

-Andy McKee, please don't argue me on this. I don't know why I do, he's good and I recognize that, I just think it gets boring listening to twiddly dee twiddly do dah over and over. It's like Eddie Van Halen's skill mixed with Tinkerbell.

-Lil' Wayne, do I really need to explain this? No.

-Wiz Khalifa, never even heard him, but everyone I know who loves Lil' Wayne loves him too. SO, auto-hate. :D

-Screamo bands, techno bands, and any other group else that Alex would describe as "hipsters". To quote South Park, "It sounds...like someone is taking a $hit in my ear."

-Pop country, no one cares if your tractor is sexy. You live in the country, and if granny's smokin' Pall Malls and watchin' Laura Engvall, you don't have anyone to look at your sexy little International, please put down the microphone.

-Rebecca Black, (obvious), she has good ambitions and whatnot, but oh my god, her voice. I can't stand it.

And on the Bieber thing, I can understand why people hate him, but he's honestly better than a lot of popular mainstream artists right now. Just sayin'.

BTW, I would'nt even consider KISS a "rated" band in any respect. I get why people would not like them but they are and never were considered to be taken seriously.

I don't really hate anyone, I just can't stand their music. Anyone who makes a living off of music is okay in my books, because they are showing that anyone can be successful in this business.

In the end, I can't say that I hate some bands because every once in a while, those bands I don't like I'll sit down and listen to. Yes, I'll admit that I'll stop to listen to Kesha, Katy Perry, or Britney Spears once in a while, but I won't listen to it on a daily basis.

Definitely hate anyone that's come up from Disney though... except for Britney :-P

and I mildly dislike Buckcherry... they have some of that ballsy classic AC/DC rock going on, but I really just can't dig the solos they have on the records.
Other than that, I really can dig most songs if they have some creative writing and doesn't sound like top 40 garbage.

Yeah. You can add U2 to the list of bands that I just don't get. Why people like them SOOOO much? They're ok but that's it. I like the Edge as a guitarist/artist though.

and GS2112...you spelled Metallica wrong...by accident. No need to pretend you did it on purpose; there is no point except mindless pride, or pathological insincerity. Clearly you would have a) come up with an actual derisive spelling 'meturdlicka'or b) come up with at least one other comical spelling of a band on that list.

Most of the time people dislike bands they are unfamiliar with or used to like. I, for example, dislike Tesla...I think. I have no idea what they sound like but yea I betcha I don't like them, or Poison or Whitesnake. I really have no idea if I really do but I didn't much like the dudes wearing their concert baseball t-shirts back when those bands were popular..so I could be totally wrong. Those bands COULD sound like Miles Davis paired with Ornette Coleman. Who knows...I'm not going to try to listen to them; or Insane Clown Posse either.

Add that to my list, in the number one spot.

For some reason I really dislike bands that I want to like, but just can't: like Queens of the Stone Age or The Mars Volta or Broken Social Scene.

Actually you might enjoy some Tesla tsb, they have a very good sound that isn't so much in the rut of the cliche "hair" metal era.
Love Song, Little Suzi, the cover of "Signs", they're pretty solid man.
