^^^ Haha possibly yes

In no particular order

Saucerful of Secrets-pink floyd (ive posted it about 50 times on this forum. If you havent clicked on one of my embeds of the video shame on you.)

The eleven-grateful dead

2001/Also Sparach Zaruthrusta- Phish

One of these Days-Pink Floyd (posted this one like 30 times already)

In memory of elizabeth Reed-Allman Brothers

These qare just ones that come to mind with absolutly no vocals... I didnt include jazz or classical because everything is basically no vocals except opera and jazz vocals you know...

I also have to add this, the song itself isnt a jam but this video is sick.

1. Shawn Lane - Time is the Enemy
2. Kansas - Magnum Opus I.II.III.IV.V.VI.(It's a long song with many parts!)
3. Mahavishnu Orchestra - Vision is a Naked Sword
4. Focus - Hocus Pocus

Same here man, It's just what comes to mind. Kansas Magnum Opus is a favorite of mine also but I only thought of it while reading your post. There are too many to recall.

@Moshzilla,

Yeah, most of what I listen to is fusion and its all instrumental. Also, classical music is almost all instrumental. Maybe the thread should be top 5 instrumentals from non-instrumental artists? Lol

Speaking of non-instrumental artists: Barry White - Love's Theme
I know its cheesy but I love that song!

@ macandkanda.... i dont mean to sound sarcastic but how does someone do an instrumental piece without being a instrumental artist? Do you mean like an artist who rarely does instrumentals?

In no particular order

Hocus Pocus - Focus (Kings of the instrumentals IMO)
Glasgow Kiss - John Petrucci
Transylvania - Iron Maiden
Marooned - David Gilmour
Steve Vai - For the Love of God

Honorably Mentions:
Kiss My Axe - Al di Meola
Nottingham Lace - Buckethead
Night of the Slunk - Buckethead
No Boundaries - Michael Angelo Batio

and there is probably more I can't think of right now.

@nullnaught,

Yeah, like Metallica wouldnt be considered an instrumental band because 99% of their songs have singing. But then there's instrumental songs (without singing) like The Call of Ktulu and Orion. Which by the way are epic.
