Yes, if any way in creation possible. And I wouldn't mind teaching but I'd rather have a store where I also build and sell customs builts. Or I'd like to be in a performing career.

Do luthiers have a hero. Like, is there some sort of "luthier god" dude who makes all other luthiers look like rank amatuers? (other than the big name makers)
What do you think of this guy? http://www.connorguitars.com/
he puts a second sound hole in the side of the guitar to direct sound to the musician. I think it's a cool idea. The guy lives near me so I should go over there some day and check it out.

@gshredder Yeah, Jack White is awesome.

And no, far from it. xD

@btimm Oh wow... idk if I have just one favorite but some of my favorites are Tangerine-LedZepplin, Come Together and Helter Skelter-the Beatles, ooh, Kashmir ^, Rock of Ages-Def Leppard, geez I have tons of favorite songs. lol

@mac I've built some of them and bought some. Some of them are hybrids that I've put together from parts I bought from different places (including one top secret project I'm working on right now :D)

@case
scorpions

It varies

Strat sound but tele neck :O.

SG

@Null Paul

@Phip For me, I really look up to this guy that I know that's been a luthier for a long time. He is literally one of the best around. I wish he had a website so I could show you some of his stuff but it's amazing.

I've actually seen some of his before. THe idea seems really cool. I'd like to play one sometime. And you should man.

That's hard... it'd be between Gilmoure, Page, and Frampton.

I want to build my own Strat from parts on the net. Is that gonna cost me more than buying say a new American Standard?

@skateboard Wow... I really have no idea... there would be so many things...

@mac I would say that you could build a mix & match strat from like parts off ebay for about half what you'd pay for an american that would blow a fender out of the water.

@g2112 I don't drink energy drinks and I'm not much for coffee but I do have the occasional starbucks.

@Emp I've built... attempted to build, one amp but failed miserably
but I'd like to try again in the future.

@AlexB I'm open to anything. So far all I've built is 6 string solid electrics, 6 string steel electric, 4 string solid basses, and 4 string semi hollow bass. I havnt tried an acoustic yet because building an acoustic is soo much more complicated. I'm looking to do it in the future though.

Here's a loaded question, what's the best and worst guitar build/customisation that you've ever done?

@Jazzy Uuuuuuuuummmmm... ohhhhhhhhhhhhhh,,,oooooooooooooooooooohhhhhmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm
mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm... let me come back to this one...

@Daniel... Let's see. The best custom built one yet is the one I'm building now. The best upgrade I've done though is puting triple humbuckers with coil tap and phase in my Kramer.

The worst was... a guitar that was I was trying to make look like a piece of of a wrecked ship. I'll post pics of it later. It was terrible.

If you had 1000$ as a budget, what would you do with it to spend a fun day/night?

Do you smoke? If yes, which brand

I'd wait til it was time for NAMM then I'd wake up and go to... waffle house, then spend a lot of the day at NAMM then go to Ruby Tuesday, then go see a concert, then go to Cracker Barrel. I know I know. I'm weird.

No, I don't. :/
