I am curious to see what everybody here thinks. What is your favorite album that came out this year so far?

My favorite album so far this year is High Violet by The National, followed very closely by American Slang by The Gaslight Anthem.

Im seeing them in september! but i havnt heard any of their new album, i should listen to it

I've just been getting deeper and deeper into older music all year though so I haven't been paying that much attention tbh.

seriously, the first time i saw this video i laughed so effing loud over and over again, and had to watch the video like 7 times on repeat...!!!

posting this not only as a music dork, but as a camera/photo dork:



the camera is mounted on a turntable, and shooting straight up into a mirrored ball. the mirrored ball changes height, which creates the effect of zooming in and out. YEAH!
