I've always really enjoyed Noir Désir's music. They seem like a French Black Crowes to me. I feel this way because, for a modern rock band, they actually rock.

p.s. I didn't really make the connection between black and noir before I reread this, neato.

lol my little brother got me back into the german metal scene. I listened to Rammstein back in 6th grade then this year he started in on them, so I got to wake up to "Amerika" at 6 AM most mornings!
They rock though

One of my favorite songs. Check out "Le Vent Nous Portera" to experience the band's "softer" side.

Ok I completely forgot about these guys, but while watching Death Note again I heard their amazing tracks again and thought I'd share :D The music video's hilarious, they look like complete psychos.

Right "Maximum the Hormone" is very awesome haha their Deathnote choons are one of the things I remember most about the show XD and to add on to the bands I said earlier "Kinniku Shōjo Tai" or more importantly their singer Kenji Ohtsuki(Ohtsuki Kenji-lol since its a japanese name gotta gahhh ANYWAYS) is a damn genius.

This is Kenji's newest song for the newest season of Sayonara Zetsubou Sensei but seriously his vocals are amazing I love em.
