anyone here ever wondered why are this forums so... well, so different?

its good to be unique..

This is the only forum I'm a member of, so yeah, I guess it is pretty unique!

yeah, i refuse to join UG or any place like that. the community is smaller, and for the most part friendlier (though at times we do have disagreements)

maybe its just the feel of the site.

i mean, this is the only forum in which ive lasted, and i really like it.

Maybe cause the dudes here are real and all of us accually know how to play guitar, unlike UG

I think it's because we are cool people who have either learned or are willing to get along for the sake of knowledge and fun.

it's the jackson animated gif that has been on here before (and it works). i modified it but it's not working. no motion. it's about 30 frames

what program did you use?

@ BBT, I used Paint shop pro and the add on program animation shop. I have tested my modified gif and had a couple of other people try it too. It works for all of us, so something must have happened in the transfer, maybe file size restriction or something. like I said the original Michael Jackson gif has been posted here before and it works so i was surprised when my new one didn't. Not a big deal, just a bit disappointed. Thanks for asking though, and feel free to use that free pass whenever needed. don't forget it's not valid on Thursdays after 3PM, or in the British Isles, but it is valid in Canada. Non transferable.

Well, I must admit I'm a pretty big forum freak, if I go on a site and find a Forum I have the most worring instinct to go register. I must be practically on every forum on the internet strangely! :D Wierd, that's made me realize it's a bit woorying that I want to go talk to lots of random strangers.

This is my favourite foum of them all though, here it's not comlex, nice and small. It has it's theme, to learn and trade guitar tips and the mods here do thier job keeping away spam or plain jerk monsters and has some of the best and friendly popele who were once random strangers I've ever talked to in an online chat room. Woohoo! (And no one seems to mind if I randomly say woo here)

I like this forum also. It's the only guitar forum that I belong to.

I got laid-off from my previous job back in November and I was a little depressed for awhile so I didn't get on the computer much. I just started a new job though and my wife is pregnant again!
