Happy New Year from the Phipster! I recorded of couple of songs for you all to listen to. Not my best singing but it is the playing I'd like you to enjoy. These are fingerpicked songs so for those of you who enjoy putting down the pick these are for you.

Phip, your music sounds awesome. I like your finger picking and the way you put together your chords. Again, it sounds great, I can't wait to hear your next couple of songs, and thank you for sharing them with us all. And thanks again for the advice!

Nice work Phip. Particularly like the way you've made that champagne bottle look like a mike!
And by the way, happy new year folks!

Phip! These are awesome :D I know you said it was mainly for the guitar but I think your vocals are pretty awesome in Blackbird Fly so belt it out next time!

Guitar playing is great, tight and a great tone! I love it. :D

Wow, your Blackbird is very good! I'm trying to learn some of that song, and while I can play parts here and there, you do the whole thang very well. I'll keep working at it! ;)

Also, I was surprised at how you look. I always picture you as John Lennon, since that's what I see everytime you post. :P

sensual... you play very good.. very, well amazing... and i loved the second song.. the singin. i must say, its good..

incredible the way you took your time to do this vid, i think there was a lot of effort behind it.. oh. nice guitar, n i like ur castle, full of surprises... theres something i can be sure of is that this aint any forum, i just remembered when i was lookin for chords like two years ago on google and found this, if i hadnt clicked the link of the page with the strange adress that is now so familiar to me, i would have passed by this forums. that is a big coincidence, being more than 100000 other pages with "guitar chords" on it.. it feels strange. thanks phip.. happy late new year to all

Sorry I'm here last Phip! But the timeing I watched you a side, I really enjoyed it. Your guitar and vocals are amazing! thanks for createing this, I also really like the songs you choose. I actually dream of playing as good as that, right now I'm trying to learn to play while singing and even just strumming alongside I'm not that great at it so far really! :D

If there was a way I could steal that talent, I would. So it sure is a good thing for you I can't.

Happy new year all.

To everyone,
Wow, I'm overwhelmed by all the nice comments! Thank you all for taking the time to post a comment or two. I promise to record these songs as mp3's and do a better job with the vocals. I truly enjoy fingerpicking and I hope that some of you who have never tried this type of playing will give it a try. It's nice to pick a song that one person can play alone without the need for a band and just sit and enjoy playing a "complete" song all alone. I picked these two songs for that reason. Actually almost any Neil Young song can be played solo and Neil uses very easy "first position" chords, so his songs are perfect for beginners like me. Anyway, I am glad you liked my little video, and there will be more I hope. I have some ideas for some pretty "kooky" videos to come........bwahahahaha

Man, the dude is all tricked out already! Emperism, you don't need a denim jacket, what you need is a manager! Great leather jacket and hat. (I'll just return the denim jacket i bought you, I kept the sales receipt). LOL
