Am I the only one who thought the Black Eyed Peas were awful. I kinda wanted to go crawl in hole and never come out. Christina Aguilera was pretty bad too.

What was with the random "sweet child o mine"?
I hope Axl Rose sues.

Yeah, the whole thing was pretty lame. Game included. Steelers didn't even look like they were trying, and the Packers were determined as hell.

By the way, Axl can't sue over that.

I didn't care too much about the game honestly... but having a beer and watching the last game of the year was fun as usual...

that whole weird,wannabe blue man group light show blew chunks,and the black eyed oeas wer terrible,they werent even trying to put on a gud show,and usher dont even get me started how i wish i would not had to see that

It's become a spectacle and not a clash of the Titans. Watching the Black Eyed Peas made me want to shoot myself. I couldn't have been more uninterested in the whole thing.

Bring back Paul McCartney again...

@domigan - Slash has as equal a right to the song as Axl, and the rest of the original five members. GH used it after agreeing not to have it associated with Slash, a deal they didn't comply with, and went ahead and did it anyhow.

Im currently Watching the halftime on youtube... Fergie did her best to try to sound like axl... I think it might have gone over better if she just sang it... Or they chose a different song of a more similar genre

And the Mix... The mix.... Ah the Mix... It was awful. I mean it wouldnt have been nearly as bad if they just raised the music volume of the beat and the track... But theyre voice stuck out like sore thumbs...


However from a preformance and sound wise, i thought usher was good, put on a solid preformance, sang well, everything went smooth for him, not my music but still...

Why did they autotune half of it?

I'm not sure why the auto-tuned it either. The Fergie bit with Slash would've sounded better had they not, and had she used her rock voice. She was still singing like she did for BEP, and I've seen clips of her singing it way better than she did there.

did anyone with any music sense think that the half time show wouldn't be god-awful?

Everything is just so synthetic with this type of "music". It's so blah, boring, uninspiring and crappy.

So my dad wanted me to watch the Black Eyed Peas play but i was like nah im not a fan. And then later my dad calls me and hes like "Slash is playing!! hurry come watch!" so i get to the tv (thinking he just said slash was there to get me to watch) and i see slash.... With a bedazzled top hat.... Someone payed him extra to wear that i know it.

I left the room and jammed on my guitar for the duration of halftime ;) hehehe glad to see I wasn't the only one who really didn't want to see BEP play haha

Should have been Journey anyways, or Aerosmith...or The Who...again... hehe

it should have been a kitty half time show..
