I started learning guitar my freshman year of college... so this is pushing almost 5 years now. Starting doing my own arrangements of songs last year, and this is like the 3rd or 4th song I arranged. I got a few more I need to record... probably get to it some time soon :)

Emp, haha, thanks dude! And yeah, as soon as I walked offstage and hung out in the hall, my drummer from last year comes up to me and goes "DUDE! Why didn't you tell me you could sing?! I would've played drums!". So, that was a facepalm moment, but whatever, I have a drummer now.

Hey.. I just rediscovered this forum. I think I was probably here back in 2009. Don't have all the fancy solo chops but over the past year put a band together. Currently we are in the studio recording and playing around LA, Phoenix, and Vegas in May.

Below is a video from a show a couple months back. FYI: Don't know if the embed code is correct - the preview doesn't show it.. It is the old youtube embed code.. so, here's hoping.

I wrote this song, Slam Shut, after dropping my son of at a bus stop in Phoenix. He was starting a hitch-hiking trip around the US. I saw a young lady getting on a bus and started to image the story there.

Thanks.. Just walked in from a couple hours doing vocals at the studio. Went well and tracked vocals on 4 songs. Now off to dinner with my wife.

@luthier, its my friends house, the drummer... The other videos of me are in my basement. This one is in my friends band room, and he loves rush... But it is a cool poster

I didnt like the mix. I thought i was too loud and my backing to quiet. But who cares. Im a lazy man. And if i actaully wasn't just makeing it up as i went it might be worth a damn.

gs2112 could not get this video to load or embed so I helped him out. The volume is real low so turn it up.
