Hello Awesome People of AGC... I have a challenge for us all. (Yey!)

I would like for you to choose a number
(this won't be fair for me so the first person who posts can also do this for me should they want to...)
This number (on my side of the screen) is a genre and whatever number you choose you have to make a song within that genre that's been given to you! :O

For the sake of a good surprise I'll PM to each of you what your genre is and once you're finished with your song post it on this topic for all to see and enjoy.

Hope you're all up for the challenge!

The numbers are between:

1 - 15 !

Choose the numbers wisely dudes and duettes! If you suceed in doing this challenge I will hereby bid thee "thy musician of awesome". (obviously worth it)

@ Nullnaught - be a sport dude, you can't change your number otherwise you'll know what the other guy has to make.

It's all good fun, give it a go. :) No one will judge you as we're all trying something new here.

@ Moshzilla - he's chosen 1, so you still have 2. Plus I've already sent you the PM regarding your genre within number 2.

@nullnaught, I saw you post 1 to which you later changed to 2 :P I assumed it was because you got the PM... however...

The site seems to be having problems! PMs aren't going through...

So Nullnaught, you can have 2.

and MoshZilla you can have 3...

I will send you the genre once the PMs start working again!

Do you best dude.

Just write some random crap and have a laugh.

It's all for the sake of enjoying music and trying new things.

Hey Jemba both 2 and 7 have been chosen and the only one that hasn't been chosen yet is 1... I mean you're more than welcome to choose those other numbers but for the sake of everyone having something different can you choose 1?

I have Reaper and it is pretty user friendly. It isn't a sequencer but a DAW and it is really good to work with.

Cubase man, one of the greatest :)

If you're up for the illegal downloading then try to download a torrent of it as it's a rikondulous price to begin with. But it's my favourite music program.

Drumtracks I use EZDrummer. Again you may want to *cough*pirate*cough* that one as it's also pricey. But very good for making drum tracks as they are all midi files and it's drag and drop, plus you can customize your tracks inside the DAW.
