i really want a sunburst telecaster with a maple neck. i don't have one. but i did just buy a mexican sunburst stratocaster with a maple neck. craigslist deal too good to pass up.

i'd love to have a 22-fret american standard fender, but the MIMs are such good quality that it feels like it would be a waste.

anyway, i can't have two guitars of the same color scheme so i don't know what i'll do when i get my tele. it might just be fate depending on what i see on craigslist!

A Telecaster Custom would be my first choice.
I've always been into Les Pauls but I think the Telecaster would match a Telecaster Custom if not be better than the Les Paul.

This is (after all mods) a dream, but a damned expensive one (about 6,000 fer all i want on/in it)

I was turned onto Anderson guitars back when they (Tom) just made pickups, then a good friend (and past teacher) of mine let me play HIS hollow/Chambered Anderson Strat-bodytype Guitar at a festival we both Giged... WOW! just WOW! its been 3 years and i'm still salivating! lol ...and saving!

I'd have to say an Alpine White Gibson Les Paul Supreme w/ gold trim (or w/e you would call it. You guys know what I'm talkin about, right?)

I got one of them. Nice guitar sounds fantastic and picksup art top noch but it's showing it's age.

My dream guitar this week would be a start with fatty frett's and modded electronics. I'm regretting trading my start....

My ibanez is perfect.

But if it had an SG or Flying V style body...

I want a guitar with two pickup outputs.

One for the humbuckers and one for just the single coils so I can send to two amps and get a pearl jam sound from one guitar.

Billy Sheehan has been doing this for years on bass. About time the guitar caught up I'd say!
