Well, A few days ago I bought a new song... itunes seem to have left out it was Glee's version of it though..
Maybe they included it and it slipped right past me.
However, The song sucks now lol.

I dunno if that's fair. I'm not a huge fan of the show, but it's no worse than any other show out there. It's funny and they do some interesting things with music. It's not revolutionary, but it's fun.

I hate everything about that show... Suddenly the industry is trying to kill out music with this popular crap. People are going to think - yeaaah music is easy, let's give it a try. Sure they can do what they want... but they're simplifying EVERYTHING... it's disappointing.
I'm don't like to watch Glee, but a lot of kids are joining their choruses and glee clubs because of it. More people doing musical stuff is better than more people playing MMORPGs.
MMOs are legendary!!! WoW, GW... then RPGs... FFVII, FFX, Okami... ah my gawd! That is where the music is at!!!!

But yeah, glee sucks... They've slaughtered some amazing songs. They've made it now so I can't take Journey seriously. I can't listen to don't stop believing which is a cracking tune, without people going "oh thats off of glee!" Then I tend to just facepalm.

Well..
1) I'm a sucker for acapella groups... There is just something about people taking songs and putting their unique twist on them that really intrigues me. It's why I've started doing arrangements of popular songs.
2) The whole cast of Glee are really talented singers and performers. I love Lea Michele's voice, as well as Matthew Morrison's... I know that everything is autotuned in the show, but when they perform live, it is just their voices, and they are really talented singers.
3) It's not really THAT bad of a tv show. Glee just gets a bad rap from things like High School musical. The show is really about how emotion can be portrayed thru music.
4) Finally, it has gotten to the point where Glee is trying to help bring arts back into schools, in an age where technology dominates. I think that is enough to make it worthwhile.
Im hardcore MMO player, real hardcore... Guild wars is the king of all PVP games... its life man, even hardcore gaming... and where you live you get experiences, emotions and...if you are into composing... you can apply them there... but if you try to force ppl who want to play Starcraft 2 (i know, its not mmo, but atleast as addictive) to making music... its just not goin to work XD...
Emp and Jazzy: A lot of my loved ones are obsessed with video games, some of my employees are realy sleepy at work because of WOW, so I was picking on interactive games for personal reasons.
Thinking it over, there is probably little conflict between being in a singing group and staying up late fragging and pwning people. :}
I hate when people can't do anything original.
All I watch on TV is local news, and the only games I play are Grand Theft Auto.(I take out my anger on the pedestrians) and old Resident Evil games
Because so many tv shows/games have gotten into this "anyone can be a famous sellout musician" or "this is real. You can go to war, get shot, and come back in minutes pain free" that I've given up on them.
As a lifelong musician and a US soldier to be (Just 1 more year), this way of thinking of other people in my generation really aggrivates me.

I sat here and read your comment like 10 times trying to figure out how to word my complaint. I don't like how you view modern day video games and music in general.
To be honest... I don't know how to form a rebuttal. I just don't agree with you... or maybe I misunderstood what you are trying to say.
Yeah Dom, but I think its also a matter of taste, I like older games too if they are good, I like older music if they are good I like mmo's if they are good... I dont like runescape (its not good)...I gotta add (IMO) because some people like or even love runescape... and god help, I just dont figure out why...but still... I dont avoid people who play it... somehow it is like I should avoid people who like to wear nose jewelry or who country dance... hmm... and because of that I dont avoid runescape because its people, but because its crap IMO :)... like that everyone can be a popstar thing... I def agree and get your point on that :D.
