I was considering saying that. I'm compelled to ask him how it works.

Well, I'm bginner in both and have not gone through so much different sonbs. But I'd say guitar was 'Drinkin' me lonely' by Chris Young (that I mastered before)and singing...quiet alot really! But the best song I can sing now after a strugle's 'Invisibly Shaken' by Rodney Atkins, only because I used to be so shy. (Ah, bless!)

Theres no such thing as the "fastest" or best guitarist in the world right 'cause some guy he's 7 years experience guitarist said the yngwie is the fastest in the world

ya thats what i say but even if we know there'll be another one whos better so i think its stupid to just say so, cause im sure there has never been #1 guiatrist in the planet for too long

It doesn't matter about the fastest guitarist. Seriously. Any faster and the actual melody they're playing is unappreciated. It's sloppy and pathetic. Everyone now-a-days has this major urge to see who can play really fast and they're amazed by it, when in actual fact, no one can actually take the time to appreciate what he or she is actually playing. It's pointless.

Play at a reasonable fast pace and then it's more appreciate - BUT PLAY IT PROPERLY! So many of these new guitarists can't even play in time because they haven't taken the time to play it slowly and know when to hit the note.

the most challenging song i'm still trying to play on guitar is Isaac Albeniz's - Leyenda (Asturias). it's maybe the most amazing composition i've seen, in my personal opinion.

most challenging on bass.. maybe it was "can't stop" from red hot chili peppers the one that took me the most time.. it was hard getting the hang of slap techniques :p

vocals:
i can't sing and i will probably commit suicide one day because of that :S :p

piano: i spent 2 and an half days only sleeping eating occasionally and playing so that i could learn "light my fire" (the doors). probably i've forgot some parts now :(

First up, Yngwie is not the fastest. There are faster players, and there is no such thing as the best.
If you are looking at music in terms of better or worse you should seriously reconsider.

Second, like Jazz pointed out, speed is meaningless if it isn't played propperly and if there is no melody in it.
write the melody first, then worry about how fast you play it.
And ask yourself why it has to be fast before trying to speed it up.
I would say I use speed mostly to point out the long notes.
Like a nice fast rift leading into a screaming bend letting out that note I was working to, that's why I learn speed. I don't learn it so I can shred, I learn it so I can play beautifully.

Toughest piece is probably one of my own creations like Let it be a blur. or new summer vibes.

Antoine Dufour - Song for Stephen

This song encorporates a lot of different techniques. Fingerstyle, right hand harmonics, on-thy-fly tuning, key shifts, melodic phrasing that is out of this world, and much more!

Antoine Dufour is probably my most favorite technical guitarist out there today.

Well one of the most challanging songs for me to sing is probably Metallica's Unforgiven II simply because some of Jame's elongations of words I can't keep up with -.- curse my out of breathness, Ican do that right tone all the way though though =]

bio, Can't Stop is one of my favorite songs to play. The funkiness is great, and I suppose the **in' solo doesn't hurt either.

Just google or wikipedia him, tons of pictures of him with his neck exposed and no gills, and nothing in wikipedia mentions him having gills. I'd think it would be a pretty hot topic.

I know we all want to have gills and be able to breath water and talk to fish, but it just doesn't happen that way, heheh. :P

yeah i can play tico tico but no where near the speed and accuracy of paco de luci he is truly the best guitarist every recorded if anyone could truly ever have that title.

hahaha I wasn't thinking he could breath underwater, just be able to sing louder... or something. I found a few a while ago, but not many. It's such a poverty stricken place, I wouldn't be suprised if something like that happened though. But yeah, it was most likely just for the music video.

i honestly don't have an entire song memorized, i have bits and pieces of several songs but i don't really have the time to work a whole song out. I think the only song i've actually played through was Welcome Home by Coheed and Cambria because my band taught it to me in 10 minutes at practice.

something pretty tough to play would be something from these guys squints palledores (go look them up on myspace) called snow at midnight thirty. but its still not hard to figure out. i figured it out pretty quickly. nothing is impossible to play it just kinda depends how good you are and how much time and effort you put into playing what ever you want to play.

Teeman, Bio left a while ago, and age doesn't matter, it's down to the personal dedication. Although, the younger you are; the faster you can learn.

jcb... wow guess im lucky ive never broken my wrist. Ive just broken three times my left arm durin my "guitar career", but none affected permanently my ability to play, as i believe a wrist fracture might....

i cant really get as much speed as you guys, it sucks but i make do lol
