I still think Skold is the more pimp (not quite as pimp as Foogered, but still) nickname so at least Jazz didn't try to swipe that as well.

Is she an Adam Sandler fan? I've met girls who love him and hate him and were very vocal to me about it. As long as she's not a hater of Sandler's work, should be an ok movie choice. I gotta agree with Jazz here that the movie thing may not be the best for her getting to know you. She's outgoing, so my guess is that it won't be like pulling teeth to hold in depth conversations with her.

I can hold conversations and such. It's just hard to actually get the convo going (for me, anyway).

Don't worry about it and force it; let it come naturally. You said she wants to find out more about you... Let her worry about that. Your goal should be to find out more about her (ambitions, passions, etc.). Ask open ended questions to get the ball rolling. Get in a relaxed setting and just be yourself.

I see alot of people my age at bars asking what their person of immediate attraction does for a living when they need an icebreaker and what a horrible question! B/C very few people like their jobs and most know the person asking doesn't care about the answer (unless it's a gold digger). It's worse than talking about the weather!

I've found that I find out more about people by finding out where they go/want to go on vacation than what they do for a living. Simple things... you'll be surprised.
