I'm gonna ask a lady over (dinner/movie)

Here's the plan.

Pasta, breadsticks, Cesar salad, some sort of beverage (sparkling cider or something). I'm gonna wear my dark/faded boot cut jeans, dark blue t-shirt, baby blue dress shirt w/black stripes, and my black work boots (a new pair, not my OLD ones).

I'm gonna have all the lights turned off, and light the place candles.

As for the movie, I figured we would watch American Beauty.

I was in a similar predicament a few months ago, this is how the story goes:

I was at a friend's house party. I have a fairly high tolerance for alcohol (I don't remember what it is on that scale, you know the one, but it's higher than average), and after playing a few games of "connection" and other people playing beer pong, I was one of the few people not stumbling around like jackasses. This super-hot, I mean way out of my league hot, had been interested in me for a few weeks at that point. She told me she was going to drive home, something like 20 miles. Weighing about 120-130 pounds (she's almost 6', a fox), she was fairly inebriated so I suggested she not drive; at this suggestion she started freaking out and fell, so I caught her. The situation then devolved into me trying to calm her down, then her being all over me, me enjoying myself, and then realizing I probably should not go upstairs (I had to find some tylenol, ok? OK! I'LL STAB YOU!). In the following week my friends gave me crap about not "tapping" that, which didn't matter eventually (score), but I'm glad I didn't do it at that point for more than one reason. I ended up actually finding she's a pretty awesome girl, and it would have been wrong by principle, even though I don't really subscribe to any religious beliefs. Coincidentally, there was another guy who did what I was tempted to do and he was kind of hunted... a little bit. Hooray?

Anyway, you can see we were/are in the same situation. Well, no, not at all. Good luck anyway!

The cool thing about candles is that it gives that romantic mood. It can also give vibes that you want to get laid (I know you and her are both Christians). My point is, you know her more than we do, and if you think it's right to do that, then go for it.
