I decided to create a topic on the fashion of guitar players. What style of clothing or appearance do you like or hate? What color do you prefer in a guitar? What type of guitar body. I personally like Angus Youngs style because it was and is original. I dislike AX7's style. |

I love the Fedora though Synyster does ruin it with his faggy bandana underneath, I also love the Slash hat, I've always been a fan of the Cape atleast when I play and look at myself it looks pretty fuckin cool to be wearing a riding cloakwith the hood up, I adore white guitars they're just so pure same with Lake Placid Blue, I like the body to be made out of maple with an alder neck but thats only because thats what I've played. I hate that weird purple red colour that Ibanez's come in, I really hate the way guys like Dimmu Borgir dress same applies to GWAR its a costume that makes people remember them not the music which destroys it, and um I really don't like those fuckin emo's I don't get why girls always love them. |

black t-shirt, usually plain fruit-of-the-loom ones, or black band t-shirts
cheap blue jeans with holes in them, holes from wear and tear over time, not ones that came with them at the store
jackass edition converse shoes
my 27 inch long hair
and for what it's worth, my house is worth $45,000, not $450,000 |

i dont wear jeans, idk y, never did. i usually wear these athletic shorts, i play lots of sports. new balence or k swiss shoes. plain black/blue sweat pants/shorts. auburn, or music t shirts, if u ask anyone, theyd all say for about 6 months i wore the same thing, eventually got holes, still wore them, they were acctually like 5or so shirts tht just looked the same, socks with holes, just my style lol. a hat at all time is required. i go golfing a lot, so i have 2 dress 4 tht, tucked in shirt, and all tht bs. im not saying the cost of my house, i will say, if any of u with young kids or if u remember the ninja turutles, i think thts it, ther like turtle tht fight this guy, like all the retarted "Action figure" stories, anyway, my best friend is best friends with the son of the guy who made it, im kinda friends with him, went 2 his bar mitzvah also, he hs like 15000 maids, and wont tie untie, or take off his shoes w/o a maid, and a lot of times the maids take it off, he has an atv track in his back yard, 3 atv's and wutever else he wants, fatass rich bestarerd. also one of my closer friends has a huge house with 2 ferrairies speeled rong of course, and has like 6 or 7 cars. just shows how rich and spoiled we all are, and no matter how many times u tell us, we still dont get tht ther are ppl tht are "really" poor, and homless ppl out ther. bunch of stuck up, sucking up (as in they suck up to teachers) spoiled brats we are. |

Clothing wise: I usually wear jeans with a T-shirt. I generally don't care about brands, but I really don't like the crappy brands that are trying to be the "in" thing. Then again, the "in" thing usually pisses me off too. For example: There's this (pretty cool) freshman kid (I'm a junior) in a study hall with me who was looking at American Eagle's website saying how he should buy some boxers on there that were plaid. I just started yelling at him saying something like "So you can wear plaid under your other plaid and be a tool like everyone else?" Then I broke down laughing, pretty much hilarious. Anyway, I wear a lot of band (mostly Zeppelin, woo!) T-shirts and sports (that we get from coaches and whatnot) shirts.
Guitar: I'm generally a fan of the classic Strat and Les Paul bodies. I've never been a big fan of outlandish designs and would, personally, never consider buying one. For colors I like blue and the sun/honeybursts. Depending on the guitar that could change completely, though. |

I'm not too concerned about fashion, but I usually wear just T-shirt and jeans (when it's cold) or athletic or cargo shorts (when it's warm). I usually just wear tennis shoes or sometimes sandals. My favorite clothes are my socks with NBA logos on them, since then I am so ballin. :D
At school we have a dress code: collared shirt, cargo/khaki shorts or pants and either sandals or dress shoes. Most kids wear Berkenstock shoes, which I think are very lame. I wear Timberland shoes (not the boots. they're just plain brown, but not too fancy). When we have "dress-out" days, every month or so, I always wear my Metallica t-shirt.
As for guitar style, I like strat, tele, explorer, and iceman shapes. I think black/brown sunburst looks nice. I'm not a big fan of plain colors, but I do like "transparent" colors, so you can see the wood grain underneath.

I will have one someday. I love my epi but I want a Gibson. I went to the guitar shop today and there was a guy playing a Gibson Les Paul through some kind of fender amp and it sounded awesome. Considering how bad I suck on guitar right now it would be a waist to buy a Gibson.
Speaking of sucking at guitar. Has anyone else (I am mainly speaking to beginners) ever think that they are not capable of getting good at guitar? Don't get me wrong I see improvement in my playing but it seems to come in spurts. I might go for 2 or even 3 weeks and it's like I am in a rut with no sign of improvement. Then out of nowhere I will start playing one day and it's like my fingers have a mind of there own. I play clear with no finger stumbles and every thing just clicks my timing is spot on and I just enjoy playing, but that never last more than a couple of days and I am back struggling to get things right and improve. I don't know maybe this is normal and my impatience is just getting the better of me. |

Les, I get the daily -.- I have no imagination so I end up just repeating boring things over and over, keeps making me think 'why both', specally when you've been playing for almost a year and a half and see someone whos been playing for like 6months play some amasing shit.
I have no fashion sense so its weird what I wear haha:
'Vintage' style t-shirts/black/ band shirt, quite tight fitting normally.
Baggy blue/faded jeans.
Vans style trainers/school shoes (there seriously comfy to play in).
M65 U.S. FieldJacket.
Bonnie hat.
Gutiar wise:
Explorer/Kelly/Strats bodies.
Mirage Blue/Black.
Black/Polished Chrome Hardware.
6/7/8 String don't mind :D |

Kelly and Strat bodies are awesome. I also like V shaped guitars but they are more common. T-Shirt and Jeans is what I wear. And two story house in California would cost about 2 million dollars. A ratty small house in L.A costs about $400,000. As for me I'm as poor as it gets (homeless, transient) this computer is not mine.LOL. All I have is my my word and my balls and my guitars.LOL |

anywho without getting all political the government is probably scrapping the cap on top up fees.

I never wear my leather jacket... I started wearing a denim vest more...
My favorite guitar shape wise would be a White San Dimas Star, or a yellow super strat.
I don't like wearing shirts with brand names and stuff... It makes me feel like a billboard. Although I wear band shirts and have patches...
And in terms of favorite guitar player look. Ron Jarzamak, he is also my favorite as of late... |

I prefer Casual dressed, nothing over the top to emphasise your genre.
I like:
I hate:
WHORES.
That may look hot, but it's stupid. They look like AIDS whores.
Personally I don't mind what the instrument's colour is. The shape, however, I prefer to be natural and not over the top with weird bodies like a wing or a skull or something. |
