Happy belated Btimm! On this day, June of 1981:
We listened to music on the radio, an album, cassett, or an 8-track
Gas was about a $1.80 a gallon
We drank water from the sink or a hose
No internet
No cell phones
No computers, PCs that is
No ATM, you had to go in the bank
You could'nt text a picture of your willy to your friend. You had to have a roll of film and an unused flash on your camera, take the picture, wait til the roll was filled up, take it to the photomat, wait 2 weeks for it to be developed, put it in an envelope and mail it!

Thanks again everyone. I ended up getting some boxers from my kids and some children's gum. I am still eight years old when it comes to gum, give me some Bubble Tape or Bubble Yum. Adult gum sucks! hahaha
From the wife, I am just gonna get like $20 to spend on something. All our money is tied up in student loans and kids.
And my bro sent me some baseball cards to open, which was pretty cool.
Would have been a good birthday if I didn't spend it home sick as crap. But at least it gave me a minute to go and learn a couple of songs by Down. :o) |
