#1 les paul or stratocaster?

#2 7 or 12 string?

Mmmmm... I like the sound and fretboard of a les paul but the playability of a strat...

Definitley 12.

@ luthier the guitar your lookn fer is a prs,the like a love child of a lp and strat.

i would say a buckethead signature lp or a yngwie signature strat.
7 string

Yeah, I found one at GC... it was an 02 santana SE and it was $250 but that ...... only wanted to give me $50 for my amp. THat thing played like a dream.

i hate gc,punks,tryn to rip people off.but a santana se would be sweet.

Strat and 12 string for me.

gibson les paul. Id probaly like the 7 string better because it give you more range.

Les Paul. They have a more comfortable neck to me.

7 string. I like that extra lower string when I need it.
12 strings is just too much tuning, and I dislike the 12 string headstock.

not sure... i don't really dig LP's because they're too clunky feeling for me, but then again I don't dig strats too much due to the fairly thin tone they naturally have(though the neck SC is amazing for blues)...hmmm I guess I'd have to say Strat just because I don't mind the size of it so much :P and I would prefer a 12 string since I love the chorusy, pretty sound they naturally produce.

And I personally love GC :D

My usual employee I buy stuff from/talk to is a pretty cool chick. She also plays flying V's and here's how my first encounter with her went:

haha yuuup...my GC crush :P since they ya know, don't carry any guitars with decent strings on them XD haha

Haha, I hate going into guitar stores because all the guitars have 9's on them! I use 11's! 9's are like using a toy guitar.

even then, they're usually all rusted and disgusting feeling and sounding... I hate playing guitars in stores that get a lot of traffic. They don't change strings ever! haha

I gotta try 9's someday, I love toys.

i like 10's but 9's are on my micro-strat.

I like 10s but I prefer the thicker bottom end of the 10-52 sets. Virtually the same playability for my fingers, yet a much thicker more pronounced tone.

I just got 12-54 strings... and I never change that size. I even think I can play stuff like I couldnt before.

Oh.

Strat and 7 string. Because stringing that 12 string will be a... you know... aaand Fender is more cool than Gibson anyway LOL...

I want to try 12's sometime
