There is another rapper, I forget his name, however, he has a music video and he is holding a guitar through the whole song but does not play one note!

eh,I guess you guys just don't get the whole atonal phrasing thing.
Lil Wayne's a freakin genious, a Sonny Sharrock(link1)/Marc Ribot(link2) of hip hop.
Music critic's just haven't realised that yet.:P

well I really dont like rap, and I do think it should stay in its own back yard, however, it is nice to see that he is actually using real instruments.

I for one am a big Lil Wayne fan. I'm not particularly impressed with Rebirth, his rock-debut, but I think he deserves respect for attempting to bridge the hip-hop and rock as others have done in the past.

I don't hate him for attempting to do it, but the playing side was well... He should find a teacher for a few years then become the new Prince :D lol

WOW...I understand minimalism, and avant-garde, free form even...but he really does just sux! I don't know why he even tried! If I was him, I would have waited to learn till I played...its kinda an insult...

those are some nice atonal licks.

he must have spent years memorizing the chromatic scale in all positions on the neck!
