you might be able to download garageband for windows, though I don't know for sure.
if you have a mac, you can make your own drum loops and such(albeit not the best choice since they are midi files).

Why don't you torrent Cubase or Logic? then you have drums, and every other instrument.

EZ Drummer

I second that EZ drummer is awesome for putting to gether demo's and such. I think they sound really real but have been told by others they don't.

You should also be able to pick up an old drum machine on craigslist or ebay cheap. I saw an alesis sr-16 going for about $50. I've got one but pay a ton for it and it really helped with my timing.

I'm shocked Jazz....are you encouraging the pirating of software? Rock on :)

Hydrogen. Software drum machine. It's excellent and it's free!

http://www.hydrogen-music.org/

It's built for Linux operating systems really, but if you go to the download page, scroll down 'till you see Windows Installer (experimental).
I use it on XP in conjunction with Cakewalk guitar tracks and it works a treat!

I have Cubase but I have never really used it.
