yeah, I'm going to have to get an "Elliott Poster" to go next to my Hendrix and Clapton posters!
And I would have bet good money that you would have become a corporate lawyer 6 months ago! Bad bet for sure. grammy would be proud.

I liked the riff! you know I sometimes daydream that I can play like that, so it oes annoy me a little to see you here saying modestly that 'it's just for fun' and you 'messed up a few times!' Grr. I don't care how much of a jerk I sound right now, I just want to play like that! (Sadly I'm just too lazy to practice enough these days...but still! Very jelous)

tooooooo much. my hard work over 2 summers. $3000 i didnt hve enough my mom gave me a birthday present and said ill paay 1000, u pay your last 2000 from work and pay me back over time. with the work ive done since then, gigs, lessons ect, i only owe her like 400 so im happy and by the end of summer hopefully ill have fully paid her back...
it was worth every penny. ik ur a schecter guy, but i tryed them and i didnt like them. my friend has one, the soddering is falling apart and its brand new, hes had it re soddered 3 times...
if u want a great guitar for the price check out hamers. there AMAZING. seriously 1k cheaper then mine, however mine sounds a bit better but still amazing.
That was really cool of your mom to do that, sounds like she made a good investment too. You're right, I do like Schecters, but I have nothing against a good 'ol Gibson or Fender. I feel every guitar should be treated as an individual piece, autonomous of its brand. The brand does help determine some level of quality without having to actually play the guitar, but there is no substitute for really playing the thing.
Also, I generally recommend Schecters due to the insane "bang for your buck" that they offer. The higher end production Schecters ($700-$1000 or so) are astoundingly cheap for their quality. After playing legitimate Fenders and Gibsons (know a guy who toured professionally for 30 years) there's no drop-off in playability.
