Who is your favorite underrated guitar player? Guitarists that are'nt necessarily recognized as great guitar players:
I think of guys like Joe Walsh, Prince, Jack White. I'll think of some more. |

Rogers Stevens is the lead guitarist for Blind Melon. He's pretty bad ass, if you watch any of their videos he does some nasty leads. |

Paul Kossoff (featured in my avatar) of Free and Back street crawler.
Also check out Mick Ronson who was with Bowie in his Ziggy Stardust days.
Both players had their own unique styles and both never seemed to show up on radar. |

TheAmericanBrit says: Kurt Cobain.
Couldn't play actual chords, but his solos were top notch.
Not really, he admitted he couldnt play solos. Most of his solos were simple and followed the vocal melody.
Are you talking about the guitarist/singer for Sublime? |

While I wouldn't say I like Cobains music, I wouldn't say he sucks. Made his own music which was pretty unique. If I had to choose I'd take Cobain over almost all of the bands now. |

Hmm..... so many. But out of all of the underrated players, my favorite underrated player would probably Don Felder. He has some very cool melodic lines. |
