My favorite guitarist(s) would have to be B.B. King, Buddy Guy, Compay Segundo, Eric Clapton, and Santa.
Also, you guys should check out Robert Randolph and the Family Band if you want to see some incredibly innovative lap guitar. |

Haha, whoops. I meant SANTANA, Jamesrue. But I bet Santa would be pretty badass if he picked up a guitar. His influences would probably lie somewhere in the vicinity of swedish shred-metal, due to his close proximity to those lands 99.9% of time. |

Santa could shred ass but I think his guitars is one of the ones thats like self tuning and got a built in amp and I think he probly also uses his magiv in order to play without touching the instrument |

buckethead. period... the greatest guitar virtuoso, bar none, and the most musically talented and knowledgable guitarist ever, bar none. this guy can release 16 fucking full length albums a year, while touring, and they are all unique... possibly the greatest musical genius of the last 100 years. |

i don't have a fav why to many have influenced me, but i never really wanted to play guitar until i heard television's Marquee Moon (song) so i guess my answer is Tom Verlaine and Richard Lloyd
and to end like Sun RA my influence is the vibes of a red apple to the cosmos of space |

Lol. Yeah Bucket-boy is interesting all right. While recording the latest album ["Chinese Democracy"] he supposedly, according to Guitar world Magazine, had built for him a chicken coop, and had a TV set up in it to watch porno because it "Helps him creatively". lol. |
