West Bend, Iowa. It's a very small town in a state with virtually nothing in it. However, we do have lots of corn, pigs, and a well renowned education system. My specific town is "world famous" for being home to the world's largest man made grotto, "The Grotto of the Redemption." It was built by a Catholic priest (starting) about 100 years ago (I think). More recently the town has been known for a very strong (American) football program at the high school level. However, the legendary coach retired several years ago and the program has gone downhill.
Edit: Oh, and the weather changes every 15 minutes. |

I've been to that grotto, and I too live in Iowa... Sioux City to be exact. Better known as Siouxer City because of our stockyards which you can smell from miles away. And the weather is the same on this end of Iowa. One day last week it was 78, the next day it was in the thirties and snowing...now it's up in the eighties... it's rediculous. |

Why do you think I moved!!!!!!!
It's really amazin what good Texas air smells like...its fresh, not filled with manure, pollen and mold after a classic Iowa winter. I used to have a friend who lived in Le Mars and Orange city, not that any one really cares |

Haha, well actually that's exactly why we went... I think it was because as a child I was a big rock and gemstone collector, so that sort of thing interested me... |
