Hah!, I didn't watch the "balcony waving". I was bored so I just watched them get married and then I said, "Ok, I'm bored with this. What else is on?"

@BBT

yes, that is a kick-ass jacket.

You know what? I'm just glad that we can laugh about the day - and not mourn over those that might have died in the terrorist threats. That would have been devastating.

I also think it's sad that while this was happening, so many lives were lost in Alabama due to some freak tornadoes. I'll sadly relate the two from now on. :(

Jazz you know with all that's happened in Alabama, my home state, I did not even realize the occasions took place on the same day. I was not in the area of the storms but I have family there that say's it's a complete mess. My wife works for a United Way affiliate doing victim assistance and she is working through the weekend to aid those in need. One bright side is that a major part of the calls coming in are from people offering assistance. Good to know that people stick together in a crisis. I've been checking out pictures every day and it looks like a war zone. There are still unknown numbers of people missing and some of the ones that are found are from different areas that were carried by the storm. So identification is an issue.
On another note.. if my sick humor has offended ANYONE by the picture posted please remove this post and accept my apology.

hmmmm^^^yes jazzy such is life.on one side of the planet,its a beautiful,elagant celebration that the there will be a new king and queen in god knows how long.On the other side of the planet there is agony,misery,and death.We need smile about the things on this planet we can smile about,and try to focus on the good things happening,becuase there is enough things to be sad about.I feel sad for the lives lost in Alabama i really do.It hurts to see other humans hurting.

@mosh Its not sick,it may actually be helpful to take our minds off the tragedy.on a side note,i think another agc member(luthier) also lives in alabama.And i havent seen him around in awhile(ie.his new interviews and such,so mayb the tornado has something to do with it?

I'm back around now. I havn't had power since wednesday morning. I just got it back on last night. Plus life in general has just been really chaotic these last couple weeks.My house didnt have any real damage but part of my town is completely demolished. Tons and tons of trees down everywhere. Houses crushed. Houses picked up and thrown back down by the tornado. I live right at the line to the next county up and there damage was even worse. Most of my friends live there and two of there houses are gone. The destruction in that town is just indescribable. I've been through small tornadoes and stuff but never in my life have I seen so much destruction around me. In Tuscaloosa the only thing left on one of the main streets is the mall. All the rest is gone. All my family and friends are ok though. And I'm glad to be able to have a hot shower again. Everything wiill be rebuilt and it'll be fine. It's not as bad as it could have been.

Did I make a new interview thread last week?

@Gshred, They're not king and queen, they just got married. Queen Elisabeth II is still the ruler of England, and next in line is Prince Charles. Prince William isn't the son of Elisabeth, therefore there's no direct line to him being in the throne. Does that make more sense? Hopefully it does anyway.

@ Luthier, dude I had no idea you were in the middle of it all! Glad you're ok and none of your friends or family were hurt.

It's quite sad that our aristocracy have discovered the good old BJ. It's only a question of time now before they decide that it's too good for the poor people!
