BugGirl: saw theses guys play at the Trash bar in Brooklyn a few weeks back. just a guitarist/ singer and a drummer but they really brought the place down. all the crusty old rockers were drooling over her skills (lead , rhythm, solos and sick vocals)

@ EMB - It's singing, just not the kind you like. IT does take skill though.

Anyway, I'm going to have to go with Heart. That's the only actual BAND with a female singer I've ever thought was good enough to really take seriously. That's just me though. I like a lot of female performers, like singer/songwriter, but not too many actual bands.

Because it's different. Most people just mistake different for amazing. Not saying it's really "good" though. But then, that would all loop back to what the person thinks is good. All in all, an endless cycle lol.

Jefferson Airplane with Grace Slick!

I know Marty and Grace both share the title as lead singer, but you cant deny that grace brought it home.

This way too hard!!! I love Arch Enemy and Eyes Set To Kill. So here is a short list, in no particular order:
Arch Enemy
Eyes Set To Kill
Luna Mortis
Epica
Within Temptation
Lacuna Coil
Otep
Xandria

Those are just my favorites! The list goes on.

«Rock on!»

"I Wrestled A Bear Once" is brutalllll - they're like Necrophagist with their progressive hardcoreness.

I mainly like the female voice being used in a melodic way but what you've all shown is really cool.

To-Mera

Paramore

I actually perfpormed this song with my friends :) Was pretty fun!

Here's another To-Mera which I've always loved :D

Love Stevie Nicks. Not only her vibrato and sexy voice but how she looks on stage.
