So I've decided to make a new topic listing off a bunch of websites containing programs, lessons, videos and notation which might or might not help you depending on your interests...

If you're interested in reading music, aside from my lessons, I reccommend you check out either:

Music Theory (for every form of greatness)

OR

Jayde Musica To just learn how to read notation, the fastest way I've discovered.

For Singing I reccommend Sing Snap

For a very big list of sheet music from soundtracks visit:
Sheet Music

For Jazz lessons by Jamey Abersold (free downloads) visit:
Abersold Lessons

For online guitar videos holding every genre visit:

Guitar Master Class

For Blues stuff you might want to check out: Stevie Snacks Which most great blues artists reccommend we all check out. I agree with them.

So if you happen to have some helpful sites, post them! It'd be helpful for everyone to have some sort of online "favourites" list for everything relating to music.

Plus... it's just an easier way for us to all improve. :)

i Love http://www.musictheory.net/ is a great site with awesome training tools. good one jazz.

I'm also going to add

http://www.justinguitar.com/

i don't used it any more(mostly just started beginners stuff) but i love the ways in which he lays(ed) things out. I think the hardest thing in learning is finding a person who can explain things the right way and in a unconfusing way to you personalty(sorry dyslexic kid rant means a lot to me, how one teaches that is)

Phip is just a pain in that ass and where all a bunch of lazy farts in the end. I wish I could just hold a book to my temple and all it's knowledge would be absorbed. that would be the life. Damn it i need mind powers.

Yeah I used to go on justinguitar too, that's a pretty cool site.

Also, glad these sites are helping everyone. Does anyone have any sites they'd be willing to reccommend? I'm interested in seeing how other minds work while learning. :)

I haven't found one yet (I'll look at the suggestions) i tell all my students (beginners to pro's) to 'watch out for Internet guitar teaching pages (ya know , like a WWW version of Mel Bay lol)'
but perhaps i'm being to protective... I'll check these and see(so thanks y'all)

while i caution against online courses and 1 man 'theory pages'
I tell them to avoid, at all "costs" , online Tab pages (yikes)
but , lol, y'all would to if ya had to correct them every freaking day.
(good gawd!)
