MEGADETH....
Slayer are terrible and the only talented person in the band is Dave Lombardo.
Anthrax are good but not that good.
Metallica stopped playing thrash after "...And Justice for All..." and have turned into more of a mainstream rock band than anything else. |

I voted Megadeth for about the same reasons GS did. i like some Slayer, if i just wanna listen to some heavy fast metal. and i havnt really heard any Anthrax. Megadeth is just overall the most talented |

I don't like early Metallica too much, not a huge fan of Megadeth, and never listened to Anthrax. Slayer has only one song that I can listen to that is fast metal type, because One and Fade to Black aren't the most thrash metal type of stuff. |

Look, I'm just not a fan of the genre, and Slayer has the only song that I can listen too in it, so Mustaine is awesome yes, but I don't think that this is about whose guitarist or players are better. |

Well There were thrash before all four of them, but the first big one was Metallica. But I feel Testament is better than the 4 of them anyways, so I'm with Empirism!!

True, there was thrash before those big bands.
If anything, Metallica changed the course of thrash, for better or for worse is anybody's opinion.
Testament should be on the list. Testament is thrashier than Slayer and Anthrax, although Slayer developed an original sound.

Metallica "started" it, but Dave was there from the beginning. I still don't think Metallica had the rights to some of those songs DAVE wrote. Megadeth owns all, and actually still makes good music today. United Abominations is SICK |
