7 string guitars are pretty rockin'...you should try tunin' that low string to A or E if you play rock or metal. so your tunings would be (low to high) A E A D G B E or E E A D G B E ...you will get the most awesome power chords ever! or you could tune it to B, which is pretty standard. |

good tunes that is a sweet guitar. I am kinda wasted right now but I hope you get the same out of that guitar that I have got out of my les paul. I took luckhubbie's advice and I am learning one one song that I really like. And I have really enjoyed lerning it. |

I'll get a pic up of my epi goth, give me like a day to secure my camera, I just got the baby restrung with the strings that make people bleed when they play, .11-.70's my favorites ^_^ |

Those are a lot of sweet guitars and it's nice to know I'm not the only Squier Strat owner :D. I really like the explore body.
Goodtunes: your amp looks the same as mine (Marshall MG10CD?) and so does you Fender Acoustic (DC-4/TS?) except mines in sunburst.
If I can figure out why the camera isn't working I'll get some photos but you'll have to stand with an orange tint on everything my light is screwed. |

Here's a picture I've just found of my old Fender HH
Strat.
To me, it proves a point I was making earlier that looks aren't everything. It looked pretty hot but played like a bag of s***e!! |

I'm barely able to point the camera in the right direction Matt. Learning to set the time and date would be like rocket science to me! |

well I thought I got a compliment when les paul said he took my advice. But then I noticed he said he was wasted. Oh well I'll take em where I can. |

i showed my friend who's been teaching me the ad on craigslist
and he said buy it w/o even trying it out. the pics alone i guess
spoke for themselves.....
my friend plays a zack wylde (bullseye) epi lp, he paid $899 for it and he
said mine plays no different than his aside from the fact his
has active emgs. he always plays it when he comes over. |

The banjo was my Grandfathers, he used it to play in jazz bands back in the 1920's. we are from Philly and he also played it in the Woodland String Band. it is a Plectrum banjo, (4 string)and they are mostly strumed or used to play chord melody songs. usually as far as I know they are tuned to open C or "Chicago" tuning, which is D G B E. I tune it like my Grandfather did he used chicago tuning but he tuned the d string in unison with the 3rd fret D on the B string which gives it a "my dog has fleas" sound. For the D string he would use either a B or E string to get the right tension with out breaking it or putting to much strain on the neck. I don't play it much cause it is almost 90 years old, but I am ok on it when I do. I am glad you guys like my guitars. There are 4 others in the house but they belong to my wife and my daughter |
