Soul? Totally.

I find myself playing bluesier stuff like this when I jam a lot lately. I don't even know why, I don't listen to that much really slow blues stuff besides this, and I guess Jeff Beck could be one too. It's just instinct, and I don't know where it's coming from.

Great vid though, BB is the master.

That's soul man. What you just said there Ozz, is soul. I am a shredder(I actually fancy when people call me that) but people can feel the heart and soul my playing even at 3000 MPH. If you just do what feels right, you really can't go wrong man.

I remember seeing the 2004 Crossroads vid(totally made me want to play guitar even more) and Eric Clapton, Jimmy Vaughan, and BB King(with I think one other) shared the stage and jammed a song together. It was glorious.

I saw him live in 2008. Even in his 80s he was great.
His backing band was kick-ass also.

Haha DarkRiff, I saw BB in 2008 also! He was fantastic but getting old so he would sit until it was time to play one of his signature riffs and then he'd get up, play it, and sit back and let the young dude take over. I'm glad I saw him when I did. Wish I had seen him in his younger days though.
