Hey guys I use this forum for scales and theory. I like the No-BS format and the text rich html. Check out my band:

General metal. We are working on some more stuff using a little more theory and harder riffs. Continuous improvement if you will

Wow thats some no if ands or asses metal right there...damn. Im sure other metalheads will dig

on a slight side note your tone is kinda weak (no offence just a pointer) try adding a bottom end to it a little i think it may lack some... i also kinda expected you to layer like start the riff out soft with a weak tone and be lijke BLAAAAAMMMMM with the same riff double tracked adding more bassy mids and being like BLAM in your face get the ** outta this room metal.

I can see people digging this... so ill give you my hippie stamp of approval

(acctually im sure phip can do a better job then that...)

"So wutcha think simon" 0.0

Honestly i dig in the sense its metal. and although i dont really like metal i can dig what people like about it and that people will like it and can see that...

you guys gig often?

Aweeeesommmmeeeeeee!

Ahhh man I can just move to this over and over again, this is a sick tune man.

I'm wid da hippie, yo. (Your DP reminds me of Phip btw!)

Yeah... I'd go to your concerts.

Timing and everything is good - I'm glad you're posting your FINAL piece of each song. That tells me you like to show you best and only your best. Good job dude, brilliant effort and definitely paid off. Keep it up!

cool guys Im glad you approve. I agree with the guitar sound next time many things will be done differently I can assure you. Not bad for a first recording sesh in my opinion. We gig about 2x a month in the San Jose, Ca area. We have a gig in cupertino with some other metal bands at the end of this week, we just need to get a practice b4 then :/

If you really dig it you can follow us on facebook since we usually post there more often:

I think 5150 is police code for pursuit of an insane or dangerous person.

*EDIT*
It's confinement of a mental person

@ Dave,

If I lived in America and I was 1 year older, I'd be there :) Sorry!

Really like it dude. Tone could use some work, but that didn't stop me from banging my head. Sounds like you guys get along great, i.e. good musicianship. Keep it up.

Section 5150 is a section of the California Welfare and Institutions Code (specifically, the Lanterman–Petris–Short Act or "LPS") which allows a qualified officer or clinician to involuntarily confine a person deemed to have a mental disorder that makes them a danger to him or her self, and/or others and/or gravely disabled. A qualified officer, which includes any California peace officer or paramedic, as well as any specifically designated county clinician, can request the confinement after signing a written declaration. When used as a term, 5150 (pronounced "fifty-one-fifty") can informally refer to the person being confined or to the declaration itself, or colloquially as a verb, as in 'Someone was 5150'd'.

Cool ddave, I'll check it out. I haven't seen Metal around here much since the Pound closed.

gs2112: the 5150 amps are Eddie's too...

I had to ignore that focus of your question because that was a terrible day the firt time I heard that album, and I've been trying to block it out for 20+ years.
