Finally another hockey fan! Too bad my Flyers lost this year though. Major bummer.

Grew up just outside Detroit. Big time Red Wings fan. Hate Anaheim and Pittsburgh.

As for this thread, I say if the refs actually calla fair game in LA (unlikely), I go with Boston. They have a better overall team without doubt. Perkins is a big loss, but not overly huge.

Boston all day, only they need to actually SHOW UP this time, unlike game 6. Plus Rondo's been my boy since his Kentucky days

I think boston had their chance in game 6, no way they can win game 7. It's kind of ironic I'm rooting for boston because I hate them, but I hate the Lakers that much more that I will root against them. I'm a nuggets fan :)

Boston. for 2 reasons.

1: I'm a New Englander (although I don't care about basketball)
2: The Devil is the Coach of the Lakers (Check video for conformation)

AWWWW YEAAAAH - LAKERS KICK ASS!!! :D Kobe didn't do very well this game though... and Celtics actually did a great job to be fair they deserve it just as much as the Lakers do.

DAMN! It's gotta be the Lakers,
After they steam rollered the celtics in game 6, they'll have way too much momentum not to win.

As I said, if it was called fairly, Boston would win.

Free throws attempted: LA - 37 BOS - 17

Standard for LA at home to get every single call, so ridiculous that the refs decided the champion.

Are you kidding me? Boston had 40 rebounds and the Lakers 53. That alone was the decision maker for this game and has nothing to do with the refs. I saw calls against the Lakers that I didnt see as fair. Kobe knew he coulnt score so he brought the ball into the paint to draw fouls and it worked. Besides, the Lakers only made 25 of 37 free thow attempts.

The Lakers won and they won fair and square.

4 point difference.... with 20 more free throw chances you gotta say that definatly impacted it.

Of course it did but you cant say all of those fouls werent legit. This is a quote from Phil Jackson "These guys (Boston) have lost more games in the fourth quater than any other in the league". That is because they play aggressive and get into foul trouble and send guys to the line. Phil told them in the locker room to play aggressive but dont commit fouls and they did.

Look at the free throw discrepancies between the home and road games. It's absurd.

fwiw, I am neutral about this series and just call it how I see it. I don't really like either teams and am just happe LeBron wasn't in the Finals. :0)
