Haha Yeah, power=shred tone. But the solitude is not
all its cracked up to be,after about 3yrs of it.
you tend to get a bit"eccentric,iono. But i wouldn't
be who i am today without it so its a give take situation.

@GS i never though about fingerpicks lol good idea

@DM i have some questions for you about plating piano...aside from that, i love bach. bach and paganini are my favorite classical composers.

i know a little bit of bachs paritita in Dmin and Bmin im learning both by ear so its gonna take a while before i know the whole thing

and i wanna learn all 24 caprices as well...along with some of his other pieces ( classtab.org )

I dont use finger picks myself, becuase im a proficient fingerstyle
player, but they may work for you. Also try hybrid picking.

And check out the videos of your playing thread to see my latest originl fingerpicked'classical piece,in DMIN.

Jazz, that video was amazing. Props to you for learning it. That was all Guthrie right? I thought there was actually some big mega jam then I saw Hendrix and was like "waaiiiiitttt a minute..." haha.

As for the topic at hand, I just play. The way I "practice" is to just listen to players I like, and try to do the things they do that I can't. Books and stuff never really did much for me, but I'll get on here and look at scales once in a while to freshen things up and get out of the little box of pentatonic or blues stuff once in a while.

Pretty impressive. How old were you at this time? "Over 100 classical pieces", I am interested to hear you play a few. Jazzy is a pretty solid pianist, have you checked out any of her stuff?

Rock on!
