personally I think maiden is better in my opinion. I just wanna see what you guys think. I like metallica, but not nearly as much as maiden. |

It's always hard to compare bands, because it makes the assumption that they are somehow equatable in terms of quality. Could never say who is better, especially two popular bands like these. That said, I think I prefer Iron Maiden because I think Metallica are a bit of a joke these days. |

uh.. soz, to the question then... I must say Iron Maiden, but actually they do different styles of metal so it cant be compared well...

I liked Metallica more in their early days. And Justice for All is their last great album. Iron Maiden has stayed true to their style all along and so I like them better now. |

i like metallicas "sound" more but both bands are amazing in all areas |
