As usual with metal players, fine technique. I just don't hear anything with substance in the actual music, though.

You're great at the style you play, but the style just isn't for me. Don't take it the wrong way, because I'm not saying the playing is bad at all.

dude, I wish I could do half of the technical stuff you can, I cannot tap with more than one finger nor make the crazy fast climbs through the strings.

Even I didnt heard any rhythm in background, you stay on rhythm and beat very well. Your technique is good, ofcourse we all can get better always, but your technique is on very good state.

I think that getting there how you play today, is matter of disclipined practising routines. It could be cool to make lessons how you practise. Im sure it helps many who want to aim for shredding techniques.

Cheers

Man, that's what I call SPEED! I wish I could play half as fast as you can. And it was also very clean which gives it the name GOOD friggin' TECHNIQUE! Cheers and keep it up! ;)

nice. not my cup o tea but nice. little sloppy (as you mentioned) and some more cross picking would, i think, spice it up (i'm leary of sweeps lol)
as for teaching ... i didn't see a chord played (#2 was a dead-link here) and you'll need them all
B U T
that does not mean you cant do what you wish and "give something back" hell, ya probubly already DID !
(some noob logs on sees the Vid and is inspired)-Dig?
Ya may wanna run that whole Sweep Run-etc (vid one with a completely clean tone as well and slow it to 1/2 for folks who lol need it slowed---Just my 2 cents advice
One thing i Do think (i made this mistake in my warm up cool down lesson I've since erased) for teaching that you, like me played too fast. I pulled my lesson for that reason only "walk before Run" kept going through my head.

all in all well done .. just refine it (and grab a bussload of chords)

my 2-Cents

and remember

RAWK!

PS: if i may intrude (this stuff interests me )
how old are ya and whow long have you been playing ?

PPS:i tried again and again to get #2 to play but still 'dead-link'

@ carl i know a lot of chords but they dont play much roll in shred or metal to me. im mor of a harmonic interval person :) and thanks for your honesty opinion. there is always room for improvment :P
but the second 1 is like a chord kinda rythm and then it goes into a metalcorey thing
also what exaxtly is "cross-picking"

guitarmastergod says:
what exactly is "cross-picking"

the word "exactly", lol, wont apply so much as it is inexact, Dig?
BUT
many folks know Alternate Picking (up, down->repeated)Cross-Pickin, to me = Alternate Picking while also (still up/down) skipping 1 to 5 strings. I was mainly saying this as i rarely saw you pick (not 'bad' hell Zappa would go 8 bars w/out picking lol) and , well, wanted to(the teacher in me i suppose).

and thanks for your honesty opinion

i am SO very glad you took it all as constructive criticism(s)!
(some dont) I have been accused of being "Honest to a fault" lol, but i'll take 1 honest opinion over a 100 'back-Slappers'

as for Vid #2 I'll keep trying!

Pretty good! You have speed and are well practiced. Timing seems good too. The second video had some 'old school' hardcore elements to it. The second did have a little slop to it, but I also noticed you were looking around a lot like you were distracted so I'm thinking that is why it was a bit sloppy. I'm a sloppy player too so I can't say much!
