I don't know what to title this, but anyways...
I'm learning "Spanish Fly" right now, since i haven't learned a new tune in a while, and I've noticed some of the insane stretches that Eddie does in this one.
Such as:

T
e-------
b-------
g-10p2h7
d-------
a-------
e-------

and:

T

g-12p4h9

are they any existing lessons, or does anyone have any special exercises that they do to become more able to make wide stretches?

My fatigued hand and I thank you

thanks man, its not the stretch itself, I can make it, but the repeated taps kill my hand! your lucky that you have long fingers too, big wide stretches made easier.

Not too bad? An 8 fret stretch? I would do that with 2 hands...

the 12 is a tap. 2 to 7 is 5

Case, in the first tab you tap on the 10th fret with your right hand, but already with your left index finger in place on the 2nd fret behind it. Then when you pull off onto the 2nd fret you are free to use your pinky to hammer onto the 7th fret. Personally I think that's do-able, but I agree the tab may be wrong and that hammer onto the 7th fret is actually just a tap.

actually, its straight from my tab book "David Lee Roth and the songs of Van Halen"... tap the 10th, pull off to the 2nd and hammer on to the 7th...
I tap and pull off, then hammer on to the 7th with my pinky...it just hurts my hand after a bit, more like a burning sensation and a cramp feeling.

Hit the 10 w/ right hand, 2 with left, and 7 with right again. (By hit i mean hammer)

typically i try to play it close to whatever it was before, but, I never do a solo the same way twice, so I'm going to try it that way

Don't hold back on suggestions either, any input can be used(if in the right place)
