Yeah i dont hide what i listen to, but people at school usually dont know what im talking about.

Its like this.

ME: "Oh, im mostly into thrash metal like Megadeth, and old Metallica, and 80's music like Depeche Mode and New Order. and some techno..."

PERSON: "?"

Lol. Perfectly put. It's like if you don't say someone who's been in the Hot100 witin the last 6 months nobody knows what you're talking about haha. Their loss I guess.

@Ironman, really? Wow I'm amazed. I just left school in May, and EVERYONE knew MegaDeath and Metallica. And I was the only one who was like "?" :P

No I'm not ashamed of anything I listen to. If anyone tried to make fun in school I never gave a damn, I just freely turned it up louder and they shut up about it haha.

people, even the teachers don't really know what I'm talking about half the time with bands and music. which goes like this:
Me: Oh yeah, my favorite is Van Halen, I'm also a Rhoads guy, but more for just the guitar, I also like Tesla and Journey TONS!
Teach/Person:...by Rhoads do you mean main street?
But I'll openly admit that I like all the stuff that I listen to, I don't care for hiding it.

I'm with everyone else why hide your music? I've taken beatings over the music I listen to and play, but hey I can say I actually support my music tastes haha :)

Yeah, to be perfectly honest, I listen to Panic! at the Disco, and i don't care who knows. There are plenty of music snobs that would down on "that emo trash". But they should just get over themselves.

Point being, life is too short to get hung up on what everyone else thinks.
