Lyrical Themes

Just curious as to what your favorite themes are lyrically.
I'm into a lot of Anti-Establishment, Anti-Conformist stuff. And of course I love the party songs too (not the pop ones, real rock songs).

anything that touches me

Mystic, sorrow and nature mainly. Also all that kind of lyrics that throw problems and wicked stuff of this world to your face.

I don't really focus lyrics if I'm honest, I mainly focus on melodies and harmonies. Sometimes I come across some really good lyrics though, it's usually about pointing out the way the world is turning out, realisation that we're destroying ourselves with this deluded thought of perfection within looks, or those smooth Jazz tracks that talk about their lover in some amazingly groovy way.

I usually write about dumb stuff other people do or from the looser point of view.

depression, sorrow, sadness, suicide. it sounds gai but its what i can relate to

I'm going to put my music library on shuffle and list the themes of the first 5 songs that show up.

it really depends on my mood. i usually like the Master of Puppets lyrics, not really much meaning, just cool lol. sometimes i like darker, more depressing lyrics. i also like more political lyrics like Washington is next (megadeth) or All hope is gone (slipknot)

and deranges satyrs with massive boners chasing wild nymphs through the forgotten forest of candy cane flashlights

a bit. my friends do drugs somtimes, i tryed, a lot acctually, ive been in classes where kids were arrested with coke in ther jacket.

P-Funk! I wants to get funked up!
