if i ever get a telecaster i want one of the thinline teles. they are the ones with a semi hollow body and f hole. think that would be kewl.

long time ago i had a book on guitars and i saw a picture of a gretsch white falcon and fell in love but its way out of my price range.

I'm looking for a U.S. Telecaster under $600(unlikely they exist) I'm going to look in some pawn shops.

Only way I see that happening is if Squier made one.

I would look at the G&L Tele's.

I played one in a local shop, and it was pure heaven. It was trans-blue, with a pearly pickguard. Cost about $600, actually.

I use a Mahogany colored guitar, similar looking to a les paul, but the part (not the cutaway, the other side) by the neck kind dents in a bit.

yeah I don't know what your talking about, guitar hero 4. but yeah they are called F holes but the more I look at it the more I like the the one i'd be settling on!

so, what does it mean when you go to a couple different guitar store and they don't have the model you want in stock? I have gone to GC several times over the last couple weeks looking to play this PRS SE hollow and I've never seen it in stock. same goes for Sam Ash music (they were 4 blocks away from each other). is that good or bad?

It could mean that its rare because if its expensive dont count on it being sold out.

the one i was talking about is about $650, I did not think that was too expensive. I may ask to have one shipped to the store when I have cash in hand.

I think it's just a custom. Don't think it has any relation to Jimmy at all.

Well, I think Jimmy sometimes used a Black LP with a Bigsby on it. But I think his only had two pickups instead of three.

Jimmy Page did use a custom 3 pick-up "Black Beauty" which was recently reproduced by Gibson. The two guitars look very similar, however this is a '57 Custom without the Page name. This '57 costs $4,800 (USD) whereas the Page reproduction was sold at production at $6,000. And, by the way, the other guitar is an American Deluxe Ash Stratocaster in Tobacco Sunburst (ooh ahh).

I am like you crunch, I like my guitars just kinda like basic, nothing that's in the shape of boobs or something or if you ever watched the Tenacious D movie - the guitar that Kyle Gass plays that looks like a girl with her legs open. LOL

I used to own a Warlock Bronze.. it was shit. Shit tone, shit ugly, shit feel. Shit everything lol. But who knows you might like it... they are mainly used in metal so yeah.

Most normal BC Richs are like that. But the custom made ones are supposed to be really nice.
