Yeah man I'm kindof a druggy I guess but you know lots of people say they won't but its a real statistic that 98% have done some drug so we can try to resist but it usually don't work, and I'll take full responsibility for being a druggy man I smoked pot for the first time when I was 11 to try to impress a 15 y/o stoner girl that I had a crush on and since then I've only done a couple hardish things but she's done everything like Meth and shit so I no longer ascosiate with her |

Pusher, well, at least you admit it. But I don't think doing drugs at 11 to impress someone who is always stoned would really work. After all yer a guitarist man chicks will want you anyways :D |

you didn't see this girl and you definitely didn't see her when she was drunk and stoned it's like that episode of the trailer park boys where theres the cheeseburger picnic and Lucy gets baked and liqoured then tries to bang everyone thats what this girl was like |

I drink on a regular basis, but never get totally hammered, it's just not fun. I do, at least from what I can tell, keep my cognitive abilities will drunk. For example, when I go to take a piss I do complex mathematics in my head to make sure I'm thinking straight. It usually works, even though I might not be walking straight! I've also tried marijuana but never used it regularly. I've also tried salvia divonorum (not sure how to spell the last part) and it didn't do anything for me. A friend of mine related it to an acid experience, but I just felt kind of distanced from what was happening. I also felt a lot less money in my pocket. |

LOL, see with my dad, he doesn't need beer to be crazy, he already is but it just makes him even more crazy. It's funny as hell. Don't worry he's not a drunk |

I did quite a few different drugs, including the "harder" drugs that people tend to shy away from. I'm not gonna bother getting into all that now because it's a thing of the past. I'll only say that I had a bunch of positive experience and a few negative experiences. I don't regret what I did, but I don't regret quitting either. Drugs came and went at the appropriate times. |

So he's an alcoholic. If he drinks by himself, and just acts all "whatever", then he's a drunk. If he goes to meetings, he's an alcoholic. |

No my dad isn't an alcoholic. Alcoholic = addict.
Occasional drinker = my dad/responsible
He drinks responsibly... like at 10pm at night he has like a few beer then goes to bed. My dad is just crazy, in the good kinda way. |

My name is Telecrater and I'm an alcoholic, it has been 3 minutes since my last drink, I mean 3 seconds.
dude, I would rather drink alone than around a bunch of people. but I rarely get trashed by my self. Then again I'm in a new city. Personally until recently i have not had a beer in 2 years. now i'm binging and I'll get out of my system and would touch nothing for another couple years. When you drink at home you don't have to worry about the police pulling you over. |

Well I can tell you right now I'm in a situation where I very much regret it. Back in September I lost bot my sisters and in December I started doing heroin off and on out of depression for about five months. I made up stories to cover up what I was doing and just recently my friends all figured out I've been bullshitting for five months. Well I now hae no friends left and I'm doing outpatient rehab so I can still work. I'm very regretful. Fact is drugs CAN cause serious problems... |

I was in a similar situation gez..years ago (man I'm feeling old). anyway i got involved with some crank, meth, what ever you call it. I always knew i liked it too much and i could be a problem.
when i was hiding in my garage smoking on this glass pipe, tweaking out and playing my guitar. my friends cooked up this plan to rob a gas station with a BB gun. while i was working the deal went down, and after the police raided the place i found myself without any friends, they all were in jail.
Thats when i really stopped doing drugs. It was not fun, i did not enjoy myself. nothing good really came of it.

Ya and let me tell you thats exactly how I feel. Just this time last year I was happier than ever in my life, I had the best friends I could ask for, and now it's the opposite.

Skold: I think all humans are capable of not making the decision to resort to something because of their experiences. Some people do because they think they can't go any other way... when in actual fact they're going to survive without the temporary release of drugs so they don't need it.
At the end of the day, the best way of not turning to drugs is by just not turning to drugs. |

I also don't believe that drugs are needed to "fix your problems" because they only make them worse, and they fuck you up.
You really can[/] fix them on your own |
