What about adding audio players to the profiles so you can upload some of your own music to it. I don't know much about computers but if this is possible it would be cool to look at someones profile and be able to hear some of there music.

Also it would be a good way to audition for the internet band.

Yeah... maybe have more features in general for profiles.

good idea, also there should be a "GEAR" section in the profile so ppl can see what u play, many of us put tht ther, but it should really have its own section. also maybe a "Hobbies" section, tht would be stuff other than guitar, cause thts a bit odvious.

Well, technically hard (traffic, web space... et cetera) but that's an interesting idea.

I personally don't think it would add much to the forum, seeing as people can, and do, insert youtube links, etc.

I just came from the lessons section and I like the new layout but it is still a little cluttered hard to find what you are looking. What about having categories just like the posts. Maybe have Theory, beginners, gear, songwriting, and technique. Then each lesson would go into the category it fits best and the mods could have the same control over the lesson section. Just an idea.

the easiest way would be to use a file sharing network and place direct links to mp3s in the profiles. then all you would need is a GUI for some kind of music player.
the coding shouldnt be too hard either, something like:
public_class_playbutton.click
mp3.play or something like that. id have to work it out, but cant be too hard.

i think its enough to post myspace profiles, plus you promote ur band(if u have one), by puttin the myspace link...

I was wondering about maybe having slots for conctact stuff? Like MSN,AIM,etc...

How about having a section that we can post song tabs on like UG.

i was gona sy tht, but we should have a regulator also, if a tab steataly gets bad ratings, we remove it, the mods should check to see if the tabs are any good before putting them up.

I agree completely. And I think the ability to delete and edit the tabs aswell would be good.
